Was in there a few nights ago and not overly impressed. Firstly where I was sat I couldn't see any mention of 'specials' and only saw whatever was on the menu to pick from. Rather a limited menu in my mind with a few too many 'standards' on it. Tempted to have a steak but at the price I was concerned whether that would be cooked properly in a pub type environment. Ended up having a lamb burger which was quite good, good chips and well presented. No pics as I don't want to be confused with any food critics. Intrusive entertainment with some guy dressed up like Axel Rose on a bender, yet doing soft rock. Place nearly empty while everywhere nearby was packed!

I have to say my 'wifey' doesn't inquire along those lines!

I have a booking with Qatar in the summer and I just received an email sayng the Doho-Bangkok leg was leaving 15 minutes earlier,. That had me worried as the connection was only about 55 mins anyhow. Looking into it I saw my landing in Doha would be 20 minutes sooner....huh how did they do that? Aircraft change, QR028 will be using the Dreamliner. Actually pleased to be trying out the 787 as I haven't yet flown on one. Wish they would change the Doha-Bangkok flight to an A380 instead of that noisy cart, the 777ER.

Don't all the Add-Ons... As much as I appreciate Fireman Sam's input above I must admit that it caused me to 'waste' several hours yesterday trying to get some of these Add-Ons loaded onto my PC and pad. Kodi is 'pernickety'.....

Just read and saw the video of this myself... the casual way the guy strolled up to the window of the Porsche Cayenne was chilling. Mind you similar has been done in-front of 7-11s to a guy buying a few beers, as the guy was worth more dead than alive to his wife!

If you are open to the second hand market then you could avoid them. An already completed building, and you can evaluate how the maintenance and administration is working out and even buy directly from an owner. In the current market you should be able to get a good price. New and off-plan developments are still asking fantasy/tourist prices.

$50/hr. Many will sit around hungry to save $250..... My pal went to the airport 7 hours early to save the small difference between the last bus and a taxi! When I suggested he would need some local currency to buy some food or drink at the airport during that long wait he looked at me as if I was mad to suggest such! Personally I pay a shit load more to sit in the premium lounges drinking little bottles of beer and eating tiny sandwiches!

I agree, I booked with Qatar recently and did not see an option to select seats until after I had paid.

My experiences have been good. Only complaint was being bused to the aircraft in UK, rather than there being a jetway.
