  1. Thanks..... I took a look at the site but managed to miss that page.
  2. The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
  3. I recall being in front of the Central Festival when the wind got up once and advertising boards were blowing around like odd-jobs bowler.
  4. How much do you charge for pick-up at a central Pattaya Hotel to the airport. What is the charge for meeting at the airport and transport to central Pattaya.
  5. Fun With Dick and Jane.

  10. Five seconds, some busy days after only 5 seconds I am back out onto Pattaya Tai!
  11. Still a bit of rain now, I was wondering whether Pattaya Klang turned into Pattaya Klong last night.
  12. Surely that would be the start of Walking St then, not the end that is the beginning. Although many Chinese tourists start at the end.... Bali Hai end.
  13. Well actually we did. I was a bit surprised to just get up and see my pool near overflowing, and my bowl with fish in it full to the brim. That means we had substantial rain during the night. The Mrs tells me it happened about 12.30am, I slept through it. Did you get it in Pattaya (I am 10km out)? Any flooding?
  14. Sunny days again at 33 DegC.

  15. Those Poles can drink like hell. I had a crazy drunk one banging on my hotel door in Poland once until the police took him away.
  16. I am not thinking the issue is with the Thai end. Ex-UK, my transfer is straight forward and can be done without any personal contact, solely on-line, and if I get to it early Thai time I can see the money that day or early the next. Perhaps the advantage of -6or7 hours time shift. I did have to plug in my Thai account details one time which took a bit of verification effort, but since, the details are remembered and reused.
  17. Yes,I think I walked through their property many years ago in Bangkok, on one of my exercise walks. I seem to recall it was a very large tract of land. As to e-cigs, requiring some medical evaluation vis 'extensive investigation by the US Food and Drug Administration (who Thailand take the lead from on many pharmaceutical regulations) on e-cigs, as local laws had not yet covered nicotine vaporisers', don't they yet have to do one on regular cigarettes?

  19. Sadly anyone who serves me up a hot-dog, or a small one which I think is also called cocktail weenie, and calls this a breakfast is failing for me. I don't think I ever got one when I was in the USA, maybe patties or links, but not lips+assholes!
  20. Double rear suspension, bigger engine, combined braking system, auto idling engine stop etc. Anyhow, let us not derail this thread further.
  21. 'Now who's going to be the first one to say you can get better duck at a cheaper price elsewhere?' Not sure why you ask this question, or perhaps I am. The Lengkee is likely the best place in town for Duck, and well positioned, it can be pretty crowded at prime eating times. I recommend the place for celebratory dinners using the room round the back, a great menu. Perhaps MK does good duck, I don't know if it is cheaper. I love duck but my Mrs won't eat it.
  22. Dan Aykoyd.
  23. Do they sell this in the USA? They sell a PCX150 for about $3500, new, which is a completely different and superior machine. Keep it real.
  24. Amazing ........... As to Thailand, isn't the Government the Thai tobacco company?
