They have been closing the odd pub and GGB for years, such actions come and go and who is in control seemed irrelevant. What changes have we seen in Pattaya, for a while M/C taxi guys were hassled a bit but is it any different now? Is there less crime in town, have the ride by grabs on the handbags and gold chains been reduced, do rental motorcycles still occupy most of the kerbside parking, does traffic stop at the red pedestrian lights and baht buses only stop at designated positions? Nothing new here.

We are having a sunny spell so ranging 32 DegC to 25 Deg C.

Five seconds, some busy days after only 5 seconds I am back out onto Pattaya Tai!

Still a bit of rain now, I was wondering whether Pattaya Klang turned into Pattaya Klong last night.

Surely that would be the start of Walking St then, not the end that is the beginning. Although many Chinese tourists start at the end.... Bali Hai end.

Well actually we did. I was a bit surprised to just get up and see my pool near overflowing, and my bowl with fish in it full to the brim. That means we had substantial rain during the night. The Mrs tells me it happened about 12.30am, I slept through it. Did you get it in Pattaya (I am 10km out)? Any flooding?

Those Poles can drink like hell. I had a crazy drunk one banging on my hotel door in Poland once until the police took him away.

I am not thinking the issue is with the Thai end. Ex-UK, my transfer is straight forward and can be done without any personal contact, solely on-line, and if I get to it early Thai time I can see the money that day or early the next. Perhaps the advantage of -6or7 hours time shift. I did have to plug in my Thai account details one time which took a bit of verification effort, but since, the details are remembered and reused.

Yes,I think I walked through their property many years ago in Bangkok, on one of my exercise walks. I seem to recall it was a very large tract of land. As to e-cigs, requiring some medical evaluation vis 'extensive investigation by the US Food and Drug Administration (who Thailand take the lead from on many pharmaceutical regulations) on e-cigs, as local laws had not yet covered nicotine vaporisers', don't they yet have to do one on regular cigarettes?
