I only wanted my grass cutting. My usual gardener kept cancelling at the last minute so we found a new guy. He cancels the first day. Turns up... second try...and now I can't even wash my butt after taking a dump. First he can't start his 20year old strimmer. Off he goes, has it looked at, comes back and it still won't start. So I borrow one, next I see they are taking it apart... doesn't like the head and wants to swap it with his. I just know some of the bolts are going to be lost. Then he cuts my main water line..... hence my inability in the bathroom,,,, running the strimmer too close to the pump pipework. Now he is borrowing all my tools leaving them lying all over the place......chucking cigarette butts all over the place. For sure some botch job coming here, it really needs 3 new elbows and a valve to do it right. I think the last gardener kicked the head off one sprinkler and broke another! Let us hear them, tales of woe and the odd 'my guy is great' post.

As mentioned, regular public taxis also include the lager vehicles. Even Mr Toom or T could likely supply a minivan if you specifically requested it.... I have had them arrive without requests. How far can you go on 1 charge? Are you angling for some BM to pick you up for free in their truck?

My TGF does chicken wings at the house, we buy the proper wing-bit from Tesco, as opposed to the cheaper other bits which I think are part of the thigh. They are a bit small of course, She left me a cooked lot recently and said why not microwave them for a snack later. She serves a salty chilli sauce for dipping which straight on the tongue like that is powerful. I microwaved them and chucked them in some plastic container with a big lump of butter and the chilli sauce and did the cocktail shake for a while. Rather good and had me looking round for a Bud!

Coincidentally I noticed a good selection of swimwear in BigC-X only yesterday. Plenty of tourists shopping there so I think your size could be accommodated. Failing that a sock some elastic.

I think you are talking of a particular money changers... not those associated with the big Thai banks. For example, in Bangkok, Super Rich, perhaps TT in Pattaya. Important for people to know that as the regular bank affiliated ones, and the banks themselves, will still offer more for TCs than cash, to offset the tax and fee of 11 baht/chq. Also TT rates are substantially better than cash at say BB, 50.63500 v 50.20 yesterday, this would offset transfer costs (500B at BB and whatever UK charges, £15-25). Those are minimised by transferring a large single amount. My point being, pick your exchange place if you bring cash.... Personally I never felt comfortable having large amounts on me or in the safe.
