  1. When you get into a discussion or argument, you shouldn't really get into it with an early sentence like this, I knew I was wasting my time reading on from here. If you don't see a any correlation you need to talk to a few bar owners and ask them why they offer it at such low prices, 1/3rd that of a bottle. And to the guy sat next to me once who made 1 draft last an age, then scrounged 10 baht off me towards the cost when he left Silver Star 2. And I gave it to him...... Not easy to get an ice cube into a bottle....we all know where those come from. There was no mention of Wobbly wanting draft drinkers to go elsewhere.
  2. I don't think so. For me I would be happy to see these being used, certainly in preference to having to inhale someone's exhaust fumes. I also like the idea of sticking a finger up at the avaricious tax collectors. Putting a tax on these would be seen as a disincentive to a healthier option. The European Union being a classic example of interference and nanny controls........
  3. Clint Eastwood.
  4. You think you are flying to the mainland then taking a ferry to Koh Samui. Check the airport code. Nearest mainland is Surat Thani (URT).... but Samui (USM) has a perfectly fine airport with plenty of flights. Unless you fancy the adventure I wouldn't consider the ferry, it also involves a good bit of overland travel. Phuket to Samui, Bangkok Airways,
  5. He only said it wasn't for him! And it certainly does seem to be cheap. Some places charge very little for a draft yet will hose you for a bottle of water or soft drink, it belies the fallacy that it is related to the cost price. It is so 'hit and miss' with the drafts too, some are passable, some truly awful, and they do get warm quickly.
  6. Donald Sutherland.
  7. I never fancied the transit...........Delhi is it? I read this on a review of Jet ....Not up to standard of middle-Eastern carriers, but they were cheapest tickets available at the time so can't complain. I am an old bugger...comfort becomes more of an issue than price.
  8. I forgot to mention that the last time I flew Qatar I was bused to and from the aircrafts and it was shit.
  9. 1599 baht apparently.
  10. Father Theo does Christian ones.
  11. Wow....400 to 600 baht/ pill. I will take the Indian generic and the suit he offered me!
  12. Shirley Maclaine
  13. Qatar and Etihad are pretty much the same in Economy. Stay clear of Jet with them as alternatives. Go for price but double check the layover times in Doha/ Abu Dhabi to ensure you don't get hit with a long one.
  14. Not much mention of them yet and I suppose a few non or exsmokers would be pleased to see them in use. But you have to remember that the tobacco industry in Thailand is a monopoly and like the soapy massage places are not too happy with competition!
  15. Enemy at the Gates.
  16. TV Film......... not allowed.......but with John Hurt we can have... Hellboy
  17. Or not, as the case may be when incorrectly informed at boarding in the UK. I also believe perhaps Miami does things differently.
  18. Neighbours
  19. You are correct, I just checked.......
  20. They do it in London. They know which bags need to be cleared.... they will be tagged differently, allthough in the UK I don't recall ever having being pulled over at Manchester after the shuttle up from London. Actually I always thought the USA was screwy the way I had to clear customs and immigration there, despite the fact I was flying on to South America.
  21. The Blues Brothers
  22. Appears to know as much about football as he does Pattaya!
  23. I believe Vitamin V is simply slang for viagra.
  24. Yes, but that is how I got from soi 7 to soi 8!!!!!!!! Perhaps Tequila Reef, Rosies or Pig and Whistle will be on the market soon. (thanks for the update and review)
  25. Well there are that type of premises in that area too....wasn't Goose's chippy on the market recently?
