Need a playlist for a coronavirus outbreak that would've seemed inconceivable just a month ago? Alternative rock band R.E.M.'s 1987 hit, It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine), might just be on that soundtrack. The buzzy hit has shown up in the top songs list on iTunes, landing at No. 41 on Monday morning. That's up more than 20 spots from Sunday, when music and entertainment publication Consequence of Sound reported the tune was at No. 64. https://www.cnet.com/news/coronavirus-has-r-e-m-s-its-the-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it-climbing-charts/

Jeez. A thanks for your diligence. -
I am being very very careful but you made me think that through. The only raw things I eat are apples and oranges and occasionaly packaged carrot sticks. I will thoroughly wash the fruit first. I will cook the carrots. After that I will find other sources of fruit, likely canned!

We aren't concerned that you will infect us in Washington state but you should be concerrned that we might infect you. I live 2.5 hours south. I don't plan to go up there in the near future. All kidding aside. I think things will have peaked before June. For now, I'm avoiding unnecessary crowds. I am ordering groceries online, that sort of thing.

One point that was made today on the news. Many airlines and cruise lines are not refunding fares unless the fare was a refundable fare. If the airline cancels flights, they are liable for all of it.

Arteta is a good manager. He is young enough to relate to today's players and very bright. He just needs to have the time and money to improve the team.

Yes, pending an appeal which at best would make it a one year ban. 5th this year is in the CL next season.

You do at times turn a great phrase! -
Especially since their direct relegation "competitors" also won (2) or drew (1). So they didn't gain ground except against AV. You are correct, they dug themselves a deep hole, all the way to the bottom.

In California where I was raised, our eservoirs were in the surrounding hills. They would let water out of the reservoirs down to the valley floor to large ponds that we called percolation ponds. The water in the ponds was pumped down into the water table, to be pumped up by the water district for distribution. Ponds dry from pumping, dams release more water and the cycle continues. This worked because there is underground water there naturally. The process in that semi arid place prevents excessive evaporation. Do they do a similar thing in Thailand? -
He might grow into them.

They were great. Liverpool has been looking sluggish lately. This time they couldn't turn up the intensity in the second half. Their defense was abysmal. Watford earned an important win. Congrats!

What does this cake have to do with this topic? Not rhetorical. Brits should know this.
