I would hope so but I would bitch to the stewardess if there was no room for my backpack (small) in business class overhead.

The airlines I have flown give business class earlier boarding which should help.

Sounds pretty messed up. I decided a couple of trips ago that I will only go every other year so I can fly business class. I just can't handle being part of the herd any longer. If fewer trips, so be it. This is another example of why.
