Excellent pics! This morning's walk for me was after checking out of the hotel on pothole. I was walking home carrying my backpack and leftover wine (England lost) and was quite surprised by the progress of the work at the junction of Pattaya Tai and Sukhumvit. Surely they didn't achieve that in 2 days .....

Too true mate! My best drinking buddy speaks damned good English ... with a Dorset accent of course. His job??? Room Boy in a hotel! When he quit his last job I taught him "Not a living wage" because he wanted to impress his new English speaking boss on his "interview" .... and he plops it into conversation every now and then and we just piss ourselves laughing !!

Hahahaha!!! Karma has responded to my pompous' ass post above!! Last night was my friend's daughter's 2nd Birthday. Last night everybody was busy working on a late work order they received, so I stepped up and ordered a KFC delivery for everybody! It took well over an hour to get here and everything was fucking cold!! Birthday girl started to get cranky waiting so long but still enjoyed it .. but that isn't the point of this thread really is it !!!

I only order locally from Thai places that know me and I slip them 20 Baht even if they will do it for free.. Farang food is a completely different matter. I've been watching some pre season friendlies on YT to pick up some pointers for the best 4.5M striker but it is proving effing useless because:- - They don't list the teams at the beginning. - The players don't wear names on the back - Whatever commentary there is, is shit .. and biased of course because it is the home team's channel!!.. I managed to walk down there this morning and I'm not exaggerating to say that it was dangerous. You could possibly carry your bike through the difficult bits. The worst point for me was where the back hoe completely blocked off the road and you had to time your "run" passed with the operator not checking as the cab was spinning round and there were no "spotters". A very good possibility you'll get crushed! I arrived at the Post Office at 09:30 to give some sort of indication of the time.

They look like larger versions of the submersible hermetically sealed pumps that you see in hardware stores that you dangle into areas that you want to drain.
