A few years ago I paid extra with BA to select my seat in advance. I got to LHR and they changed the effing plane and my pre-booked seat!! Kuntz wouldn't deal with my refund either...

You can...but I sent them a mail asking questions about entitlement ....

Whilst we have accumulated so many Spam experts on one thread may I pose this question...... What is the taste difference between Spam and Tulip luncheon meat? In Big C today a can of Spam (American) was on offer at 209 Baht ( normal price 235 Baht ) but next to it was Tulip luncheon meat at 109 Baht... So, as I say, does it taste any different...especially in the mode that you prefer to eat it....????? EDIT = No corned dog on the shelves today - perhaps I need to take a walk up Khao Talo to Siamsburys..

As mentioned in my OP I would normally have a seafood platter and a bottle or 2 of wine spending around 150 quid.....Depending on the replies from my mails I may do as you suggest and do a walk in . Sometimes I tend to overplan things.... EDIT = I am flying out on a Sunday night...No idea how busy it will be then...

Maybe when I get to UK I will come to the same conclusion but it's not as if I am making a special journey to buy Spam and corned dog...

Has anybody paid for access to an airline lounge at LHR T2 airside? Previously I have either flown Biz, been a card carrying member or when flying cabbage class spent my time (and not a little money) at the seafood bar hoovering wine.. This time I am flying EVA Premium Economy and would happily pay extra for lounge access but there is bugger all information I can find on their website. On doing a search I can only find Plaza Premium lounge but some sites say free wine others say you have to pay for alcoholic beverages... Help!!!!

The buggers sent me an email yesterday changing my aisle seat to an inside seat on the return leg LHR to BKK.... I called them immediately and they said it was due to a change in aircraft. I said I want an aisle seat or I will cancel. They reverted me back to an aisle seat...but lets see what happens on check in (which I will do online)

To get back on theme...I have cravings for spam sandwiches every few months or so but refuse to pay Friendship/Big C prices so will be bringing a few cans back from UK in September along with a few cans of corned dog.
