  1. One thing happened briefly when I did a "New Content"" ... Instead of a star on posts I got text that said " I had posted on that thread"
  2. Yep.. Stuffing is important to me .. especially chestnut stuffing.. so I guess rolled pork would be the solution....
  3. I went to Big C Pattaya Tai today. The farang butcher that did the Klang turkey cooking last year said they were expecting their turkeys Sept 1st but no imports are allowed as you correctly say... So what next... Pizza hut....unless any business owners out there wanna offer a solution...
  4. Hahaha I thought my arse was sore this morning... I was quite worried..!! You have a couple of good menus there. What time does the pizza delivery start...???
  5. When you get stamped at arrival just have a quick look to make sure you are stamped in for 60 days. Earlier this year I arrived with the same visa and they only stamped me for 30 days. Also when you collect your passport at the Embassy stand at the window about 5 minutes before collection as the queue goes out the door. ( window 2 I think)

  8. Well it might be. Y'see I come from a big family in the Dorset countryside and an integral part of Xmas day was sitting down as a family and preparing the veggie. I could have a "peel a spud - drink a glass morning"..!!

  11. I went in there yesterday and had a great time. I hoovered a bottle of wine then Andy got me on the Ricard..... Um....and I have just woken up in my own bed ... not quite sure how I got home.. Great!!
  12. Yep I am starting to make my Xmas Dinner plans!!! One idea I am contemplating is having friends over and getting the turkey and roast spuds cooked then delivered on the day. I have vague memories of seeing this adverstised by some English pubs last year..... So any ideas or recommendations of who to use ( or not use)? Merry Xmas..!!!!

  15. Watching rugby alone at home is as pleasureable as drinking alone at home...I was hoping for info on a place that has it on in Patts, with the sound on and a few guys watching..

Anybody that has spent any time in these potential death traps in the row of seats on the rear axle that claims it is worth the money probably makes a note of all the balloons as they approach town.......Sitting above the rear axle you feel every bump in the road directly into your cocyx, straight up your spine..If you could book your seat fine...otherwise forget it..

  19. That is deep fried, not roasted. Crackling has a light crispy outside with soft fat and meat on the inside...
