Just to put Slovenias effort into perspective again, they defeated Russia to put them out of this World Cup Finals. (The population of Russia is 141,927,297 as of 1 January 2010) I didnt check all preliminary results but the also put the Ukraine (Pop 45,905,341 April 2010) out of the cup. Also the plucky little Slovs beat Algeria the other day. (Currently there are 24,182,736 Algerians) So far then Slovenia has broken the hearts of almost 1/2 Billion people. Thats a fair effort and maybe they aint done yet? I like cinderella stories.

Um which 'half' of the Aussie team were born elsewhere? Vidosic was born in Croatia and Rukavytsya was born in the Ukraine. The rest were all born in Oz.

Get over it. Shitty officiating is a part of all sports. It was an entertaining game seeing the USA struggle in the first have against a nation that has a smaller population than da Bronx. Yes he made some crappy decisions but at least he wasnt bullied. Have the Lawyers started lining up yet?

FIFA need to toughen up. A ref might miss a dive bit the 637 cameras covering the match wont. A panel does a review and any softcock caught diving can have lets say .... a 10 match holiday from the sport. Also anyone falling over up has 90 secs to stand up or he goes off. You are either injured enough to be genuinely down or playing the prima-dona card. I like the game but I dont watch it to see B-grade actors.
