Just back from Pattaya and bought a 7" tablet pc in Tuk .com from a fairly decent lad I have bought off before. It has dual sim card and is a copy (what's new there) its marked on the box as a P8800 MTK . Anyway to the point now back in the uk I tried my sim card in both the slots and cannot get it to work on either. Anyone have any ideas my sim is a pay monthly contract from 02.

No experience of Cathy plenty with Etihad and I would recommend them to anyone great airline never any problems always on time. Although like elsewhere in the public service the cut backs are creeping in little things but important things like no more hot towels before meals no water before take off these used to come as a matter of course not now.

Just to maybe update the information as of about 1 yr ago the cheapest taxi I could get was that booked through the Margarita Stn in Angeles at 2600 peso and just take it at 1.5 hrs travel anything less is a bonus

On a side note I have a nice Samsung galaxy 9000i s its unlocked (as are all o2 phones) and it definitely works in Asia as I have used it there before. It has been in a case from day one so its scratch free and in as new condition. I will be in Pattaya very very early next month if anyone wants to make me a decent offer for it ? I have now upgraded to an S3.

Jacko if you value your arm I would keep the hand its attached to on the handle bars! There is only one way to survive out there on any vehicle specially a motorcycle is to NEVER DRINK and drive and to keep your eyes going in all angles at5 all times expect the unexpected and extend your vision from the road on which you are on into the side streets etc. Read the road from far middle to near! Probably one of the reasons apart from the fact of the appalling driving standards in Thailand that so many killed on motorcycles is the fact that they are occupied by double and treble the amount of people they were designed for. I mean when you have an accident on a motorcycle it means at least serious injury but add to that fact 4/5 people on one having an accident well that certainly boosts the stats as well as the injuries. Also just take a look at how many Thais you see who look left when they turn out of any road they just go and that's it they are crazy! I don't mean anything disrespectfully just my observations and anger at these people how they can have so little respect for their lives.

I found the program informative although I was aware of the Yabba in Thailand mind you never seen it or wanted to its not my scene drugs hate them. I was always lead to believe it was a Thai problem with quite a few of the locals on it. Lots of advice there lads and thanks one point I did pick up on is processor hogging. I have a little knowledge of computers so I depend on yourselves and you tube. Anyway I have seen Norton flash up a dialogue box with high processor usage something like 100% of one processor and when I ask it what it is it points towards internet explorer?

My computer has of recent started to play up. Its a dual core AMD Athlon™ 64 3800 2.0ghz 3 gig of ram 64 bit operating system operating on Windows 7 Ultimate registered. There is a Nvidia GeForce 7900 GT/GTO card installed. When I am on the internet and well on say the likes of Huffington post when I have to scroll down with the wheel on the mouse the text etc gets all distorted as if its being dragged and sliding down the paper. If I click a few times and highlight a word it normally reverts back to normal. I have got Norton 360 installed and registered and I have scanned but can get nothing. Any clues please?

Thanks I had heard he was not well I hope he does get better. Nice place to eat and very reasonable. These places are getting fewer first for me was the tin hut as I called it near what is tonys on soi bukaow they used to sell lots of fruit a the front and the eatery behind now its just the fruit left! It was another great place especially for Thai food.
