I have access to the sale of used but absolutely mint some not used at all SLR cameras they are Minolta 9x1 incl 28-85 lens some contax,some pentax, and two Rolleiflex 6008 these two have loads of accessories all are branded and in absolutely mint condition. I can list further details if anyone is interested in these or if there is a particular model you are interested in I will see if its available. These are from a private collection all fully operational and come with original boxes manuals etc. I will only be too glad to pm a picture of the item/s if requested. I am not into such proffessional photography but I am told that these are amongst the best of the best. I have seen some of them especially the Rolleiflex ones and they are indistinguishable from new. I was also shown a rollei lens for one of these its a special lens and cost £5000 back then! I will be visiting the Thailand in Nov coming so theres transportation covered if anyones interested! Also forgot to add there is also a minolta 7D with a 24-135 lens never used!

Totally agree been there done that bought several of them. One I was actually using when there and ok it worked not as responsive as a proper touch screen but nevertheless, but on the way home on the plane with it in my pocket the screen cracked! I have used my Galaxy 9000i this past 2 times same conditions no problems. This would appear to be one of the bad points thin screen.

As of recent on Soi Bukaow I have asked for and got my money back when the girl gave me the check slip and it was a lower rate than the paper notice displayed on her cashier window. When I pointed it out she took it down and no problem giving me my money back . I went on down the street and changed it at the same rate as she was offering but it was the principle! I should have known better that its the thai way but I was just making a lone objection and it made me feel good ha, fool that I am ! she was probably thinking crazy farang.

1 You are right it did happen! 2. Considering it takes about 1hr 40 mins to get to Pattaya from the airport and then to get the three S's and get out to get money changed that covers the timing. 3. I am fully aware of the operating systems of the banks exchangers etc 4. TMI you need to get a hobby Joe!

Thank you oh great wise one IN GENERAL. However I have seen it as much as 2 bhat difference at the airport than in Pattaya but yes as I said in general I made the mistake of bhat instead of satang.

Good advice and most applicable if you cannot make it before the exchanges close. The exchanges at the airport about 5-6 yrs ago were actually better than those in Pattay but now they are always a few bhat less. I find the best excahnges to be the yellow ones on Soi Bukaow near soi diana and close to the shoe super store.

The breakfast at Jollys on soi bukaow is good cant remember the price though but the food is decent and the waitress service is good.

I have used them and probably will continue to do so now and again but I am not a fan of them. They take too many chances for my likings also I have seen them around soi Bukaow sitting drinking together. I remember also reading on this board ? one time about the yabba useage of some! Anyway I ride a scooter on holiday in Pattaya and would never ride it with so much as a whiff of alcohol so I don't really appreciate getting on behind someone who has maybe had some.

In favour of the all knowing Joe this time I have to add always becareful with Cebu I have been travelling with them on various routes to and within the philippines and the most travelled one being BKK to CRK as mentioned here. NEVER TRUST the bastages ! I am always in a demilima as to when to book with them and when I get my main Asia flight booked I start to frequently look for the side trip flight to CRK. I am hoping I got it right this time (well I am satisfied with the price ). To explain in detail they have a year round fare of 3499peso and to quote the site this is •Quoted fares are one way. Limited availability. Fares are non-refundable. •Fares are exclusive of government fees, taxes and fuel surcharges. •Flight changes must be made more than 24 hours before scheduled time of departure. •At time of booking, pre-purchase your baggage allowance to save time and money at check-in. •CAB approved terms and conditions of carriage apply and are available online . ok well now they advertise and do this on a frequent basis when having a sale i.e like the one here mentioned the year round fare is stated as 3115 thb which equates to 4433.47 peso as opposed to their promo fare of 2475 thb which equates to 3522.58 peso ! all of which as stated does not include luggage or taxes and the hidden one not mentioned until you fill in all the details WEB ADMIN FEE. When I booked about 2 weeks ago for the same travel period there was a promo on and I bit the bullet and booked 2 days after the price went up on one of the legs by 200 bht. Anywhere else in the world they would be done under the advertising standards agency but yes alas I know this is Asia and more so the Philippines. Maybe they are the Ryianair of Asia lol Forgot to add I got mine in Nov for 10239.08thb which is for 2 of us one no bags the other the smallest luggage same flight at todays promo 13908.16 bht mine was also marked 50% off ! MMM not so clever me after all ! was messing about on line last night thinking about meeting someon in Phils and I saw the same flights as I had booked now 3000 bht cheaper piss that ! ah well just put it down to no logic attached to cebu pacific !
