Had a look at them about a year ago and they were nice decent sized rooms and spotless like the toilets near bye.

Just an update on the Green hotel. Great wee place to stay and handy to all the night life ! The rooms are fine big bathroom shower area open plan type. The service is good but I can find better places to eat! There is no joiner fee whatsoever. There is a small pool which I never used and yes they charge for internet usage its a system I have never came across before in that you pay ? cannot remember but its not a lot and you get a period of time which can be used at anytime . You just get a thing like a pay slip tear of the sides to open and there is a user name and password and you use it to log on each time. The staff are friendly oh and forgot there is no in room safes just ones behind the front desk dual key system. I would use the hotel again without hesitation.

With the exchange rate not as good as it was years ago I will save in whatever way I can to have my pleasurely ( new word made up by me) time in los. Well the bus you refer to yes I use it all the time except when a flight has been delayed and miss the last one. Well as you say the last one leaves at 2200 and no stops until its destination at the bus depot near Jomtien there you can all depending on your luggage negotiate a motorbike taxi or a bat bus to your destination. I usually pay 100 on bat bus to get to my specific hotel on bukaow,this also applies when leaving just stop any bat bus and offer them 100 take you to the bus depot no problem The bus itself is comfortable with reclining seats and aircon nice smooth run no hassle and its a great price as opposed to 1500 legal at the airport or 1300 under the table or Mr T I think now 1200.There is no pre booking for the bus but there is usually no problem getting on just make your way after picking up baggage and away you go to the ticket booth pay the money get the ticket sit down relax and watch for the driver or courier gathering up the people and away you go.

The biggest pieces of shit that should be hounded off the beach and out of everywhere is those scumbag shits operating the jet ski damage scam. Just back from a trip and saw on the one night an Indian family and a middle eastern family embroiled in negotiations with the usual tourist police and local police in attendance neither of whom seemed to be doing anything other than smoking and standing like spare pricks at a wedding. The usual gang of thugs and thieves in a circle of intimidation of the fall guys. How I wish that shit was taught a lesson. Anyway I walked on and about 2 hrs later came back and one of the group of thugs was in the same place the victims gone and of course these bastards drinking and smoking the spoils ! Now there's and idea a drug setup ! if one was that way inclined . Seriously it makes me sick when I see these assholes in action and being allowed to do so by the authorities.

Ok just a plain and simple answer/s required to renting a bike from yourself. Situation: I rent a bike from you at 800 weekly and you deliver it does the insurance provided cover everything? i.e. I go out on the bike park up somewhere in town or out of town for that matter and place the supplied lock on it and take the keys out of it, when I return its gone. What are my obligations?

Its a well trod path this lads but its the usual old story when the drinks in the wits out! Thank goodness I have never had such happen nor do I wish for it there is lots of good advice here but I will add a couple of things maybe useful. Always remember that the only one you can depend on for anything is yourself or a very close friend. So you go out on the town and are drinking if you are in company as a regular thing fine no one will spike your drink if you go on one of those all too frequent trips to the toilet after you break the seal! Never accept a drink on the beach road unless you are sure of what it is. after having your fill and its time to go to le loom a couple of good well posed shots with you new girlfriend on your mobile phone for identification if necessary later. Have an arrangement although it usually happens in any place I have stay in Thailand to have the ladys id photocopied and held until she is leaving. In le loom NEVER EVER OPEN THE SAFE IN VIEW OF HER. Wait till she goes to the bathroom which will mostly be on arrival then open it empty your pockets and if you really need the jewellery while in los take it off too and place it in the safe keep about 300 bht in your pocket save having to open the safe until am for snacks which she or you may require. Then when you are finished close the safe door lock it and give the keypad a wipe with a pair of the knickers out of the laundry or clean ones if you wish ! ha (second thoughts clean ones just in case the food has got to you) Have your shower in peace with or without company and always open your own drink and pour it or neck it. As for the spirit bottle have it in the cupboard until you are ready to use it . But in all honesty how many of us need more drink than we have already had before coming to le loom if shes that ugly use your hand ! no need to bring her home. Well with all the other suggestions here and these I have survived and many times been really drunk. Sometimes so that I wonder why as it would be like trying to push a marshmallow into a money box!

I have come across this type of what I believe is a scam for money before. It always seems to occur on the last day of stay that the pressure is put on if you have stained it that night. Anyway I had a friend had such a problem and I saw the sheet that he had noticed and tried to remove the blood stain and honestly it was about the size of a small coin and a slight trace of pink! I just laughed and thought what shit to try this. So told the manager that although we were frequent guests unless this charge was waived for my friend we would not be returning or we who were staying another week would be leaving! Yes you have guessed it ! in true Thai form he insisted on the payment so the remaining 4 of us checked out also and vowed never to return. Now maybe I was thinking we should carry some vanish oxcy stuff along ! ha

I wish you well in your sale but sadly the place not the plaice will be of no miss to me as due to lots of recommendations from this board I ate there once and never again over priced and food sub standard,

Cannot agree with you on Gooses Jacko I went there with a friend on the recommendations of several from this board . I found it expensive greasy and heavy on batter light on fish ! I agree with Big D and others about berts its good food and reasonable. Try the slightly healty option of his sandwiches they are excellent lovely fresh white bread packed full of whatever your filling !

The internet bit does not really bother me but will see what its like. I have had no reply to my email as yet going to prompt them again !

What world do you live in ?

I wanted a change from the usual place I stay and I also want to do it on a tight budget all due to these recessional days and the strength of the bhat. Therefore my theory being that evry little saved on accommodation (I am not up for shit accommodation) taxi's etc counts towards other entertainment and enjoyment. Simple i.e. taxi from swampy to Pattaya like I used to do cheapest Mr T probably at 1200 now I used the bus as I am always ready to roll at about 7pm 134 then bhat bus 100 from the station near jontiem straight to my hotel, so in that part I have saved 966 roughly a nights accommodation. I still have the same laughs and fun but feel less of a pinch ! I am afraid its called got bitten by the Thailand bug ! and just have to do it as lean as possible to continue.
