That is basically the concept. Most states let you make right turns on a red light. This increases efficiency. Statistically right hand turns are much safer. Accident reductions are a huge thing in the transportation business. Left hand turns increase the odds of a collision at an intersection by 40% + in a commercial use vehicle. The system maps the driver to make as many rights as possible and maps out deliveries accordingly. The drivers works in an assigned zone for regular deliveries. So turn the zone into a square or rectangle and your in business.

Both actually.I have met/talked to you on several occasions. But that's okay. Lot's of folks to remember in your business. The point was UPS is far more efficient and innovative than FEDEX. I have lived in many countries where all right turns would not work. But it shows an effort to deliver more efficiently.And that attitude should translate across the world to every UPS branch.

I get forced to use FEDEX from time to time because the factory in China that produces my clothing line likes them. So here is my most recent adventure with Fedex. I order two large boxes of shirts sent express for a trade show. I order weeks in advance and wanted the shirts to arrive early so I could inspect the new designs. The factory finished up quickly and called FEDEX. The pick up was for two boxes and an envelope. The Fedex driver in China signed for all three items but left the two large boxes on the dock. Sad for this guy. I investigate commercial vehicle accidents for a living. The basic procedures here show an odd sense of detachment. Usually with an incident this bad in the US I have to race the police to the accident then take as many photos as possible as fast as possible before LE starts tampering with the scene. Here they are taking their time presenting everything to media. Really an easier way to go.

I can safely predict that Americans are more concerned about where the US teams uniforms are made than anything the US team actually accomplishes. Also any wins by the US team will not make it farther than the sports page of any major newspaper.

The tourism they are looking for is an economic death nail. Las Vegas learned this long ago. Encouraging family tourism nearly collapsed the Las Vegas economy is late 80's/early 90's. When they leveled the amusement parks for nightclubs, the economy skyrocketed again. Lesson to be learned for Pattaya tourism folks.

Absolutely. But if you have a car parked, why use the service at all? The advantage for visitors is you get to your driver more quickly and can get your vacation underway. I have limited time in Thailand and hate to spend an hour + while the Russians and Indians try to figure out why the immigration folks will not fill out the forms for them. Or why they need to go up individually rather than 10 at a time.

I wondered if anybody using fasttrak has been stopped. Since I started using fasttrak I have never been stopped or searched. The rep. walking with me hands everything over to customs and immigration for me. I barely miss a step as we walk out to the awaiting driver.

Real tabasco has to come from Tabasco, Mexico. I buy a case if I can when I go to Mexico. In between there is always the local Mercados to keep me supplied.

I use Bangkok Air to go between BKK and Phnom Penh. Air Asia has so few flights a day to Phnom Penh, Bangkok Air is really the way to go. The airline always serves a full meal on the flight . It is funny to watch the flight attendants running around the cabin trying to get the meal served so people actually have a few minutes to eat it before the plane lands.

I agree. The landlord did nothing wrong. I have a few rentals in the states and until recently two in Bali. I always provided a place in good repair and kept up all maintenance. A contract is a contract. If it does not suit you, don't sign. Really looking like an ugly Westerner, peckerwood.

I hear talk of this line that one can get through it in 10 minutes. But I have never seen a line with less than 60 people in it. Plus I like the idea of not having to make a mad dash for the immigration line. I have seen people nearly trampled. I just relax, take my time exiting the plane.
