  1. I'll have to take your first answer I'm afraid.
  2. No, I didn't include the bar fine. Thinking about it, 2600 baht is a bit much but if she is stunning then it would be worth it. I take it you don't go with go go girls that often?
  3. Two thousand baht I can live with but I feel aggrieved that I am discriminated against because I am skinny.
  4. I agree. Although I am not a fan of the ping pong balls being thrown about in go go bars and find it degrading it's a waste of time being philosophical here. These girls are prostitutes at the end of the day and most nights they will be having sex with strangers in a hotel somewhere. They aren't forced into doing anything they don't want to which is the most important thing here.
  5. Well so far it would appear that anything city can do United can do better.
  6. Great post and one which I concur (to a certain extent) with. The sex industry will always be available in Pattaya but I think the type of people that will visit here is changing all the time. Airfares might be cheaper than they ever have been and most people are looking to go further afield for their holidays these days but Thailand isn't a cheap holiday any more due to weaker Western currencies and the clientèle in Pattaya will reflect that. It is possible to go to to Pattaya and have a holiday if you're not a sex tourist and the TAT are trying to entice different types of holiday makers, th
  7. Keep them coming mate......... I love nostalgia......
  8. Excellent stuff. Such a shame the floating market diminished over the years as I was expecting something much better when I finally went there last year.
  9. Such a shame that there are that many ass holes out there that would take advantage of this guy by tattooing his face with the promise of money. When I first met him I thought he was an absolute lunatic due to the tattoos but soon learnt that that isn't the case and he is completely harmless. As far as I'm aware he used to sleep rough and take care of a lot of the stray dogs in the area. Bought the guy a drink and gave him some money on several occasions. A tragic story but it takes all sorts to make this world.......
  10. Unless your wife is extremely open minded about sex I wouldn't bother taking her there. She may well give you the impression she is cool with what you have done in Thailand and what goes on there but the reality could be something very different. In my experience there is only a tiny minority of Western women that can deal with Pattaya and the chances are that you will row with her when you go there. How will she cope with women blatantly flirting with you and coming onto you irrespective of the fact you have a girlfriend in tow? Throw alcohol into that mix and you have a recipe for disaster..
  11. David Niven (the original film)
  12. There must be loads of this "toxic seaweed" on the menu in seafood restaurants in Pattaya if they catch it anywhere near Pattaya beach. One to avoid. Media hysteria certainly won't put me off going to Thailand. I could become one of these statistics at any point myself, but I don't let that bother me.
  13. What else? "I'm Spartacus!"
  14. Gunfight At The O.K. Corral
