I always thought that if you went with the bank deposit route, the money needed to be in the account for at least three months?

All I know is that I once tried to make a reservation at the Swill Grottino and they didn't even respond to my email. It did have good reviews, though, from what I recall.

When I used to work in the DC area, I'd look at the Washington Post every Thursday, I think it was, in the travel section, for that week's airfare deals. If you keep your eyes open and can leave at a moment's notice, you can find some excellent deals. One time I saw a r/t flight to Paris for $298.

Just to change the subject a bit. It's not classical music and it's not theater, but, last time I looked, the girls at the Angelwitch put on a good show.

Of course, if you have the funds on deposit or have the monthly income, doing it yourself is a lot cheaper.

When I was staying in Phuket in an out of the way guesthouse, DHL did a good job of tracking me down. They had to call a few times to get directions, but I finally got my package.

There's also DHL. I think it depends more on what your bank will do. Some people who've had the same problem have run up against a bank's policy that it will only send the card to the home address it has on file.

I've been in Phuket when they've had the Bike Week there. I'm not really a motorcycle enthusiast, but if you are it would probably be worth seeing everything. People come from all over with their bikes, I'm sure. Maybe there's a web page aside from Facebook?

I think I read about some place in Bangkok that will rent lenses, but it's been so long ago that I don't remember the details. I'd be tempted to just read the reviews and buy the best one for the money. If you don't like it, send it back. Usually, you can find a place that will allow returns within 30 days.
