A small note of warning, I used to fly with China Airlines quite a lot a couple of years back, and they were always over booked on every flight. This was really never a problem for me since I had a business class ticket through my job at the time, but it was hell on earth for the people with regular tourist class tickets. Remembering Pattaya from the 70:s and visiting it today is like going to another planet. This news has been posted before, but it makes one wonder if all the rumours might be true and that there is a plan to move all the bars to another location away from walking street and Beach road to make Pattaya more family friendly?

A little bit of advise, I would be renting for a year or two before buying right now. Right now Pattaya is way overbuilt and there are many properties unsold, and at the same time the Thai Bath is very shaky. Be cool, take your time rent for a year or two and give yourself time to make a good deal, to learn more about the different parts of Pattaya and Jomtien and to find an location that you feel is perfect for you! I think that you will find that Jomtien has a lot of good sides speaking for it and that it is not really to far away from the the main action. Good
