No problem provided girls have original ID. Most of the night staff are pleasant. One howere I do not remember on previous visits is anal retentitive. I brought in a 25 y/o the other night. Yes I know her father is probably younger than me, but the b...h behind the counter had a face on her that would curdle milk. My bar fine had more personality in her big toe.

In the last 2 nights have found the humidity fiercesome. You could boil a kettle on your head.

I got a room in the Royal Asia a few years ago in November as a walk in. It is at the end of Soi 8 and a decent hotel. Free Tuk Tuk up and down to Sukhumvit.

HOW OFTEN IS BUS SCH. TO PATTAYA
growler replied to MATADOR_USA's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Result of googling bus schedules. Not certain how often bus goes from Northern Bus Terminal. Found it in a flash. By Bus : This is the easiest and most popular way to get to Pattaya. You can take a bus at the Eastern Bus Terminal on Ekmai Road in Bagkok. There are air-conditioned buses leaving daily from 5.30 am-9 pm. The bus departs every 40 minutes. Tel.0 2391-9829. There are also the second-class air-conditioned buses leaving every 30 minutes from 5.00 am-9.00 pm. Tel.0 2391-2504. Alternatively, you can take a bus at the Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) on Paholyothin Raod. Air-conditioned buses leave daily from 6.30 am-6.30 pm. Te. 0 2936-2852-66. -

New Pattaya forum for the Dutch
growler replied to DutchGuy22's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Difficult to find people in Amsterdam who do not speak English. A German explained to me that as TV programmes and Movies are shown in Holland in original language ie English with Dutch subtitles it helps them to speak English well. Germans are not as good at English as their programmes are dubbed. It is very likely the Dutch would have won the World Cup in 1978 if Cruyff had played. Dutch footballers have the reputation of being very indepently minded. -
Areca Lodge, Soi Diana.

Diana Inn - your impressions ?
growler replied to ac69uk's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Areca Lodge is on the other side of the street, but about 150 metres down the Soi. -
I came in with a lady one night who was not let in as she had only a photocopy of her ID. In this case we were both shown the notice requiring original ID so I had no complaints. I would be annoyed also if it was put over in a brusque manner.

Money is destroying the competitive element in football. Sunderland, Wigan and the playoff winners will face a huge task to survive next season.

Feileacan, I know what you mean. Dublin Airport is a frightful kip. Even more hassle lately with security measures.
-
eltizla, It might be worth investigating going from Dublin as there are plenty of connections with LHR.

Taxi, Did you notice what Sports TV channels are available? I like being able to watch the major sports in the comfort of your own room. -
Best Way From BK Airport to Pataya?
growler replied to Happy Chappy!'s topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
BigDUSA, From what I have been told on another forum recently, I would suggest that Mor Chit (Northern Bus Terminal) is a better bet. I understand it has a/c which Ekkamai has not, and also easier and quicker to get out of Bangkok. -
Biggest problem is the tropical downpours which occur after dark. Unlike daylight hours no advance warning.

If I were one of you "comedians" I would worry about being struck by lightning walking down the street.

where can i find good thai dinner buffet?
growler replied to wallyperrier's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Not sure if these are the type of places you are looking for. I often go to Hotel Diana Inn for buffet dinner which costs 159 baht. Good selection of dishes there. The Apex Hotel just around the corner also has a buffet dinner. Plenty of Thai food and no danger of starving to death. -
I hope the dialogue is in English. I like to understand the story.

See what the 2 Newcastle players have caused already. I can see the World Cup next year being the cause of gunfights on Walking Street.
-
BigD, Should we be surprised?

I stayed there for 10 days in February in a Studio. Very spacious with good gym and swimming pool. Easy walk to Sukhumvit, and Nana BTS via Soi 6 early and late. Sweaty in the middle of the day. No hassle with guests.

Reminds me of the 2 Blackburn players who started fighting in Moscow during a European Cup Game. David Batty and I think Graham Le Saux.
