  1. She thinks you are a stupid falang sorry I mean sexy man.
  2. I have never used the guy, but a friend of mine swears by a tailor called Will on Soi 6 about 2/3 doors up from Jimmy Mac's on right hand side going towards 2nd road .
  3. Have they still got the artic a/c in the resturant?
  4. Basil, Sorry I mean Cookie, You need to hire a Spanish waiter to make things run smoothly?
  5. Bella Villa Prima includes breakfast in its rates. Last time I was there it was 2 breakfasts. They have a pool (small) and the rooms have an outside balcony. I will be staying there again in November. It is now 1,500 baht a night, so even if you get a monthly rate I would be surprised if it would be 30,000 baht or less. Suggest you read the hotel reviews for other possibilities.
  6. Nakaleen, Another option is O.N. Taxi. I have used them a few times and found them satisfactory. About the same price as Leo Tex quotes for Mr Toom, and in either case a good deal less than arranging through a hotel. Mobile 09-9391449 Tel 038-720237. ontaxi@hotmail.com
  7. No doubt your next holiday will be more enjoyable.
  8. While there is a fairly good chance of finding accommodation when you arrive I think joksuk is giving good advise. It gives you a day or two to look around ,find somewhere you like, without the hassle of being burdened with baggage.
  9. I was in there in early July and found it very pleasant and uncrowded. Maybe I was just lucky to avoid those "delightful" families.
  10. Guys, I checked the date on my 2006 Thai Diary. As amphora says it is Sunday November 5th.
  11. Big Dusa stayed there for a few days about 3 years ago, and then moved to Sky Top. He told me he found the beds were too hard. Apart from that I think he would have been happy to stay there.
  12. I had fluid taken out of my knee there last year. Not particularly relevant to eylid surgery, but Bumrungrad is reputed to be one of the top hospitals in Asia.
  13. Tengotodo, I would suggest giving the Royal Asia a try assuming you have not done so already. Decent hotel at the bottom of Soi 8 with a tuktuk up and down to Sukhumvit.
  14. Totally agree with previous comments. Elite far inferior to Evergreen. FWIW the 747 still operates on the Amsterdam-Bangkok route.
  15. I agree with Soi 6. Porn Ping is great value. I was there in February. I think it was 1150baht with 2 excellent buffet breakfasts. Probably cheaper now in off season?
  16. I spotted an item on the Bangkok Post a few days ago which stated that there will be delays on Sukhumvit from On Nut outwards due to commencement of work on extension to Sky Train network beginning next week.
  17. Surely China Air business would cost considerably more than Eva elite.
  18. I am sticking my head above the parapet momentarily here. I find that you can Google all sorts of useful information as in http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/THXX0015
  19. I have just booked EVA elite(evergreen) for end of October with West/East Travel for £760 which includes various taxes of £135 and c/c fee £15.
  20. As good as it gets. Should be little if any rain and low humidity making it very pleasant outdoors at night.
  21. biggles, I put on my goggles and googled the relevant information. http://www.1stopbangkok.com/getting_here/bus/
  22. I always get a taxi both ways, but taxi or bus is a matter of opinion just like the various Bangkok-Pattaya threads.
