I think it is unlikely that you will get a DVD player in Carrefour for 1500 baht. You can get a portable VCD player for that price. DVD players are likely to be 3000 baht upwards for a full size machine, 5000 for a portable. For a portable Video and music solution, you can try something like this, from Carrefour at 2000 baht: VCD films/Music/Karaoke are available widely in Thailand, from as little as 19 baht. Cheaper for the girl you leave it to.

thai deal £320.00 anyone want to go in june
valentinoxxx replied to sparkey1's topic in Meeting - Cost sharing
You'd have to arrive and depart together. There are cheap deals available, between £300 and £400, if your willing to endure an indirect flight. -
The new Swiss AirBus is apparently rather nice. A close friend travelled with them Bkk to London and reported the experience to be on a par with Singapore Airlines et al. Good quality meal, personal TV... Kako se?

From where and how much? In June from London, other than the Thai deal, is RJ for £372 inc. KLM £410..

I disagree that one should avoid airlines below the 4* rating. How about Maersk Air, Air Asia...? Young fleet, leather seats etc They, simply, don't fly long haul.

You would condemn a whole company because one of it's drivers had his wife and baby aboard? What are you thinking? Do you think the company even knew about this? This is Thailand! Sheesh If you want guaranteed top class service, try; Image Limousine Twice the price though.

If the UK travel agent(If u r using one) quotes a much higher price that I've quoted, for the Paris - Bkk flight, book it through the site link I've supplied. Do check as to whether you can stopover in Hanoi on both the inbound and outbound or only on the outbound journey.

If you want/need to buy tickets before you arrive Charlie can sort them out for you.

'Soi' is a street off a main road. If you want to be in amongst it, I'm sure you'll get recommendations for soi 6 and soi 8. Problem is, if you take girls from your doorstep, you will have to walk past them when you want to take another girl. If they ask for a CC guarantee before you arrive, stay elsewhere. You can call, fax or email. Up to you. I would call and then send a fax or email to confirm. Otherwise just turn up. Bangkok? Up to you. Why not take a look. can pick up a cheap mobile for Thai use or just a local SIM card(250 baht) if needed. It's low season now. Rooms ar

Mobile phones and SMS in Thailand
valentinoxxx replied to valentinoxxx's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Thai Pre paid SIM cards do not have monthly charges. They also do not have calling cards. They use SIM(Subsciber Identity Memory) cards, a chip about 15mm square. I have made clear the charges for calls in the original post. There was me thinking that the original post was clear and simple.... -
I am confused..... Vietnam Airlines does not fly from London. Paris and Frankfurt? Yes. London to Paris starts from £53. Expect to pay around £70 for a good connection with British Airways or British Midland. Paris to Bkk via Hanoi with Vietnam Airlines is around 690 euros inc(£460) Telephone +33 1 41 86 24 42 or email: serviceclient@anyway.fr Website: ANYWAY France General Information Depart Flight VN534 from CDG to BKK From: Paris - Charles De Gaulle (CDG) To: Bangkok (BKK) Transit: Ha noi (HAN) Time between connecting flights: 275 minutes Informatio

Added a little more info on GPRS internet connection. -
I think the reason why he hasn't received any replies, is that he hasn't written where he wants to travel from and when he wants to travel. Sample options: Return flights; From Bangkok; 8000 baht Thai Air/Vietnam Air/Air France From London; London to Hanoi £401 Aeroflot (ebookers) London to Hanoi £491 Air France (airline network/ebookers) London to Paris £80 BA/BM. Paris to Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh to Bangkok £450 Vietnam Airlines

Are you looking for a flight/package or are you simply making comment? If you are looking for a package, you could fly to Amsterdam with BA for, say £160 return and connect with a China Airlines package, starting from £370, to include the first two nights accommodation. If CI is not available on the dates you would like, you can fly with FinnAir for £370 inc or £400 inc flt only from AMS. Typical direct flight price with China Airlines is £455 inc If you fancy a little adventure, you can fly to Paris for £140 return and then onward with Vietnam Airlines via Saigon/Ho Chi Minh for

I disagree withe the 'wai-ing'. He is not Thai and shouldn't pretend to act like one. A polite show of deference will be enough. Example: Some languages I speak a little of. Sometimes when I meet a native speaker of such a language I will defer to their language. This sometimes means that the rest of the conversation is conducted in this language. Not so good if you are not fluent. Luckily, you have the option of explaining that you are not fluent. If he 'wais' but misses other important cues, that could be interpreted as rudeness. Better to show politeness and courtesy 'Western' sty -

If you are only a short trip(a couple of weeks or so) and are not stopping in Bkk, at least three networks operators have representation at the airport. If spending trip in Pattaya, Orange is as good as any. Otherwise, a diversion via the MahBoonKhrong Centre opposite Siam(See-am) Square, can net you a serviceable mobile telephone for as little as 1000 baht, with a local (pay as u use) SIM card(HappyDprompt/One2Call/Orange) coming in at as little as 250 baht.

You know what assuming does..... On the business card, the 'L' is omitted. Send to both to be safe.
