  1. I second that about BA, JB. Though, it's 80000 BA miles for an Economy Return. Increased from 50000 miles in July. Disgusting, I think. I imagine it's because they want to make it more difficult to utilise the Club World seat/beds.
  2. 150 baht. The bus ticket desk is on you left as you exit after picking up your luggage.
  3. Look for another hotel? One day loss of deposit seems reasonable.
  4. You are unlikely to see the brown bottle stuff here I think. Though, I can imagine that a few entepreneurs are working on it...
  5. Tab Mule We're listening.... You wouldn't believe the whole nonsense began about the standard of the Thai Airways Economy cabin, would you? You're right in some ways.... I treat girls as friends, not as sex objects. So, possibly because of that, they may enjoying spending their time with me. I don't get excited about it. Some you win ,some you lose. Take care mate.
  6. I think the 'strength' mix-up is because of the difference of the LOS and European products. They bear almost no resemblance to each other. As I stated before, an Austrian bought the rights outside the Asia region for the original RED BULL. The stuff we see in the UK is related, almost, only by name.
  7. If you have the time to stop in Bkk, go to the MBK Centre. You may be able to pick up a second hand model for 1000 baht or so. I may, this next trip, leave a mobile telephone in Pattaya for use for those who do not wish to purchase a mobile telephone for short trips. It will be suitable for use with all networks. Either at a bar on Walking Street or at the FLB Bar for use at a nominal rental charge. All proceeds to go to a BG friend.
  8. The apartments are so new, that it seems unlikely that they would change the GF policy in such a short time. Otherwise I suggest you are more assertive in your correspondence to them. ie: I intend to have girlfriends staying overnight in my apartment. I expect that there will be no extra charges. Can you confirm this? :)
  9. Oh! I'm sorry.. I forgot that you are the new 'specialist' on travel on this board. How dare I add anything to your definitive replies? ::)
  10. Diethelm Travel charge you the full whack(double room price) for a single person, so there is no need to charge single supplements. Their prices are nothing to write home about. http://www.r24.org/ is a better bet.
  11. Orange SIM is 400 baht. Dprompt SIM is 400 - 500 baht. One2call SIM is 700 - 888 baht.
  12. It ain't 'cos you're black, it's 'cos your.........from the good 'ole USA. Seriously though, who knows. Maybe they think you're an African. As you are only there for two days, I'm sure you'll be directed towards Soi 8 and the likes of Flipper Lodge and Eastiny Inn. Reviews are available by clicking on the 'Hotels' link above. If you want to keep a lower profile, try http://www.mamaisonhotel.com/AEindex.htm The cheaper rooms are smallish, but new, with an mini electronic safe. Good location too.
  13. NightCrawler I'm going to humour you one last time. So far, you have described yourself as 29 years old. 6' 1" and "tons of fun". Sorry, 19 stone. Ok, 6' 1" and 19 stone. That would leave you a steroid induced body builder or FAT! Ugly? If you were a 29 year old handsome 6' 1" hunk of muscle, I hardly see you coming over to Pattaya for a couple of weeks of P4P. Together with that, your highly academic qualifications and your attractive mode of employment, I can't see the English girls allowing you to leave. Unless you're a FAT UGLY .... If you choose to hijack a thread
  14. Then you won't need to return. Bye bye. I'm sure you'll find, if you bothered to look, that I post a lot of 'useful' info. I just have a sensitive nose for bullshit. Tell me, why do you attempt to single me out when, in fact, NightCrawler's first ever and subsequent posts are abuse aimed at myself? I wouldn't let someone do that in person, why should I accept it online?
  15. You may be able to pick up an Orange SIM card; The Orange counter at Terminal 1 of Bangkok International Airport is open 24-hour a day, seven days a week. You can call 0 2996 7073 to check phone availability. Don Muang Airport sub branch Arrival Hall Fl. 1, International Terminal 1 http://www.orange.co.th/english/join/main_...n_smartpack.htm http://www.orange.co.th/english/join/main_funpack.htm You may be able to pick up a One2call SIM card at the 7-11 at the airport. If not, try the MOBILE FONERENT counters at Arrival Terminal 1 and 2. Tel +662 535 3598, 24 hours. AIS Cal
  16. It's true. I have been on the bus when it stopped to let someone off on the Sukhumvit Road. It's not inconvenient though as it is only generally for a few seconds. Personally, the bus is ok for me as I'm not in a hurry, so a three hour or so journey from door to door is ok for me. Though I will take a taxi when I'm leaving Pattaya. It all depends on what suits you at the time.
  17. I understand how annoying it is to read that someone may have found a fare to Bangkok for £1... then you spend hours trying to find it. So, if I post some fare info, I post exactly where it can be found, if I can. I know you wouldn't have it any other way.
  18. Zeus The 90 baht Express coach does not stop either. (You might even meet someone interesting) Anyway, it's academic. If you are staying the two nights at the Dynasty Pattaya, why wouldn't you take the free minibus? If you are not, why would you pay 350 baht to be dropped off at the Dynasty Resort Pattaya, in the middle of nowhere?
  19. Butt out! Is there a ignore button on this thing? ;D
  20. 11690 baht return with Bangkok Airways. Better to buy a Bangkok Airways Discovery Airpass to do the journey, with a free stopover in Phnom Penh for under 9000 baht. http://203.154.168.55/birts/plantrip.aspx http://www.bangkokair.com/airpass.htm
  21. You can buy them in the bulk packs of 12 or 24(something like that) It works out at around 8 to 10 baht per bottle. Makro or Tesco Lotus. http://www.tescolotus.com/Default.asp?Lang=English http://www.siammakro.co.th/ Whaddya mean, "You can't read Thai script"?
  22. As you say Cumcannon, it's fine, as long as you want you prebook the nights at Dynasty Pattaya. Your "ten times as much" comment is pure hyperbole. :) From the airport, there is a three times daily minibus service from Thai Limousine for 250 baht. You can take a taxi from the airport or Metropolitan Bangkok for 1000 baht or you can take the public air con bus from Ekkamai (Sukhumvit Soi 63) for 90 baht with a Songthaew shuttle to your hotel from the bus station of 20 to 40 baht.
  23. 24. Bazz You can reconfirm as early as you like. You do not need to confirm your Heathrow departure. You do not need a Gold Card to choose/prebook your seating, if you have booked EVA Deluxe or upwards.
  25. There was me thinking that the ISVA was the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers(Which no longer exists). Of course, you know better.... [smiley=bullshit.gif] As I said, it seems you LIKE playing with the rubbish, since YOU SAY, that you have a choice. It appears that you do not have a sex life outside P4P. It seems that you cannot imagine that one can have a sexual experience outside P4P or even one that does not include a Thai girl. In fact, I generally meet with European girls in the Banglumphu area. Yes, you are right, not a single one of them has asked me for money or
