Ma Maison Again walking distance from RPG. Give those nasty tour group monoliths a miss. -
Blatant advertising??

Honey Lodge Have to get the right room though , as some are damp smelling. I disagree with the review in that I think Beach Road may be one minute's walk away.

If you have the time, save yourself the hassle and get a Tourist Visa before you leave. This will allow you to stay for 60 to 90 days without having to do a visa run. Thai Embassy - London Visit only Thai Consulate - Hull Post & Visit Not sure why I assumed you're from the UK. Just thought the Paraguay thing was a joke. -

For a short trip, fourteen days or less, leaving before the end of this month you can still get a flight for £386 return. -
I would not be comfortable sending my CC details via a webpage with no encryption. I don't think that you have to worry about the hotel misusing you CC details. It's just that the reservation page has no security. Individual safety boxes. Two keys I think. No joiner fees, for one guest.

Checkout time policy at the Baybreeze hotel.
valentinoxxx replied to tomx2's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Hotel charge by the night. So if you had paid to stay on the night of the 31st of March, they have, quite simply, cheated you. As long as you left before checkout time, there should have been no charge. A slightly different scenario could be that if you booked paying a monthly rate, that rate may have covered only 30 days; in accordance with the particular hotel's policy. In that case, the 31st could have been an extra night. Under no circumstances would you pay for staying on the 1st of April. That would be quite a nasty April Fool's joke. Maybe they ran out after you shouting -
Do either of your recommendations fit into the 10-12k per month category? Anyway geedeeo, capdagde, Sailfast; another recommendation within your budget is Tycoon Place, at around 9k baht per month. You really have to ignore BigD. There is something wrong with him. From whence did you appear? You certainly could not have been residing on the same planet as the rest of us.

Allow me to paraphrase; For what reason did you think it was edited? Awww...never mind.

EVA's Thai website will charge you Business Class taxes on an Economy flight. Unless you notice it and ask for it to be refunded, nothing will be said. Together with the lack of the ability to view alternative dates whenattempting to make a booking, I would say it's time for a re-design.

It was edited because I had originally posted the wrong total for 10 kilos. Why did you think that it was edited, you under-educated oik? No offence intended. Just making an observation.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. There is no war or even bias, on my part at least. BigD has been warned against his constant spamming of the forum. You should be grateful that there are people keeping an eye on such disgraceful behaviour, as it's possible that an uninitiated reader could take his advertising seriously. I've given a couple of suggestions. You can take it from there. Sermsri; 08 7490 5249

The owner of the aforementioned guesthouse is welcome to post his monthly tariff here. Again, I am sure that he won't, as it will only illustrate the relatively poor value offered by this type of accommodation. I'll take the time here to reprint a recent post from MM to BigD.....just in case someone missed it:

soi unwise Was your comment aimed at the OP? If so it shows your general lack of intelligence. I don't know of anyone who would be happy to pay £353 in unexpected costs to check in a 30kg suitcase. I for one have rarely travelled longhaul with a suitcase less than 30kg in weight and have never been charged extra. In one case one airline accepted a bag of 35kgs without charge. Bangkok Airways for one allow you another 10kgs immediately as you join. This is important, as otherwise you could have problems with connecting flights. So, unless you are a friend of the OP, your

BigD I think we have already ascertained that you are not describing a high quality guesthouse. Also, what is the monthly discounted rate in April for the room without windows or aircon? The one priced at 450 baht per day. That way we can compare it to what is on offer elsewhere. I am sure that you will not answer that simple question. If that is the case, my recommendation will be to avoid any place that cannot be upfront with it's pricing policy.

An example for 9000 plus utilities: Diamond City Place There is a noisy Karaoke nearby, so visit at night to check if your room will be affected by the noise. Another choice, though at the upper end of your budget, is Sermsri Apartments on the Phra Tamnak Road before you reach the Siam Bayshore. Probably a little overpriced for what they offer, but you can take a look. I'll dig out their number later.

Otherwise you will have to purchase a twelve month validity return ticket with a no fee inbound change, which will be fairly expensive. I guess that you missed it.
-
Get a single ticket. Bank on around 350. Otherwise you will have to purchase a twelve month validity return ticket with a no fee inbound change, which will be fairly expensive. One way inbound from around 250. Don't drink to drown your sorrows and DON'T sponsor ANY girls or tell them how much you have. They will be working on ways to get their hands on it and that will be how you lose your redundancy money. Then you'll have to return early. Get travel insurance! You only had two choices and still got it wrong.

Certainly no problems with standard arrangements.
