  1. Didn't stay, as I had an apartment. Just took a look around. 'Twas nice.
  2. Is the a Baht Bus route that diverts from the RG location up Third Road? It is fair to say that Diamond City is in a better location that RG, simply because of it's proximity to multiple Baht Bus routes and shopping facilities. Saying that, there was a time when I thought that Diamond City was a bit out of the way, as I was used to beachfront locations. :) But I can see that the location would be safe and very convenient for many BMs.
  3. Here's an alternative: Imperial Residence Negotiate on price if necessary.
  4. Of course I did not mention Diamond City in order to denigrate RG. Residence Garden is still decent value for short term stays. Especially because some BMs may prefer apartment living, as opposed to just a hotel room. My post was only to illustrate an alternative that may also be convenient for some BMs.
  5. Two TVs, two balconies and under 1k per day at the long stay rate(at least a month). Better location too. There is no doubt that RG is good value for short stays.
  6. It's not a short walk. This is cheaper and in a more convenient location: Diamond City
  7. I haven't watched any of the films here, but I would guess that if it isn't a hardware problem that it may be the lack of a correct Codec. Can you play DVD Videos using Real Player? If you have eliminated everything else, download and install either; Nic's XviD Codec or Koepi's Xvid Codec.
  8. I see.... at least BA have confidence in them. :)
  9. You can't equate BA Club Class with Transaero Business class. :) Personally, I would consider flying with Oasis to HKG for £425 in Economy or £777 in Business and then connecting from there.
  10. I'm sure it not that cheap, but as you didn't give a budget... If no go, here's a list to peruse: http://phatthaya.com/business/houses.htm Otherwise, Diamond City have rooms in a decent location for 9600 baht per month or Studios with kitchen for 14k plus utilities for your dates.
  11. No, the Condominium is not located on Soi Diamond. The details are here: PEAK CONDOMINIUM Tappraya Road 445/1-114 Moo 12 Phatthaya City, Chonburi 20260 ph: 038 250450/5
  12. Use Brute Force if the first solution doesn't work. If you are still having trouble, try one or both of the solutions in safe mode. Sometimes, if the files are in use, it is not possible to remove them. If you start in SAFE MODE, the files will not be in use and you can remove them more easily. When you've finished. Download, install SuperAntiSpyware and Run it in Safe Mode.

  14. Thanks for the update. Wouldn't they let you take a picture of an unoccupied room? Why haven't you updated the external photographs?
  15. If it's just a clean room in which to sleep, you can get a decent room in Mirador Mansions for around £30 on the Kowloon side. I sometimes stay in an apartment on the Hong Kong side. Depends on your budget and requirements.
  16. http://wireless-lan-forum.com/ Use a direct connection if you can.
  17. Don't be Irish.... Seriously, come up with your budget and requirements.
  18. What a moron. :) Actually I'm just shocked at your stupidity. I don't think anyone reading this thread will come to your defence or admonish me for describing you as an idiot. In your case, it is not a form of abuse. It is an accurate description. (To be so rude to someone who tried only to help and went to the trouble of providing a hypothetical illustration, can be variously described as idiotic, ungrateful, unpleasant....) So using these words to describe you should not be viewed as abuse. I don't see any reference to making profits within Emil's posts. Believe me, I h
  19. I count four. Clearly you are too obtuse to notice the subtle hints passed your way. Seriously, you are the dumbest person, who seems to think he's intelligent, that I have ever witnessed on this forum. Do you suffer from some form of Autism? Emil was clearly putting forward a hypothesis. The buying of a safe is not an investment. It is a matter of what is important to the individual. If one had something of relevant value, under certain circumstances, it could be prudent to purchase a safe for a single day. I could produce many examples to illustrate Emil's hypothes
  20. Dear Owl Clearly it wasn't only me who was shocked by your tone. No one forced their ideas upon you. The poster simply tried to explain the concept to you, thinking that you may not have understood. Being helpful should not be rewarded with brusqueness. The poster stood to make no profit from his efforts. It is only you who has described the buying of an item as an investment. I sometimes stay in a 200 square metre beachfront apartment. No hifi sytem. Would I consider buying a music sytem for a two week stay? Yes. not as an investment, but because that is what I wanted.
