  1. Hide it your pocket, guaranteed to frazzle your balls
  2. I stayed in standard room, 800b in may 10, room good if a little dull, shower excellent, no joiner fee, access to lj swimming pool, which was great and the gym and sauna(which we didn't use but looked good). I moved after a 7 days to Kilkenny because I like to stay above a bar, I like to wander down for a coffee or beer and have friendly faces to chat to. I also like a DVD player in the room, which keerati didn't have, not to watch movies, sometimes like to throw a porno on while I'm fucking, but thats just me
  3. Apple Iphone, in China a least 4 shops have been found to be phoney fronts, and by that I mean Apple Iphone retail outlets where even the staff and management team thought they where working for an Apple franchise but turned out to be a scam selling cheap copies on contract, now thats clever
  4. Pool on top of Mikes mall is excellent, great veiws over the city, reasonible food and drink and always a varied crowd to people watch. That said, if you like to people watching, I often go to the beach, turn my deckchair round and spend a few hours watching the varied life that troll beach road.
  5. Just looked at the website and it quotes a 500b a nite joiner fee
  6. I use the same one for 3 weeks, but their more than welcome to keep it when I go home
  7. There are a few restuarants on the bottom of Soi Diana, think they're dutch or german, I've had a nice steak in one of them, can't remember its name though
  8. Norton and I've never had a problem, I believe it slows your computer up a bit but its secure
  9. Not including hotel I believe you can have a good holiday on 3000 baht a day (£60), you may not live like a king, but you can eat really well if you stick to thai food, which i like. I like to go the gym, thats cheap enough, I'll lie on the beach reading and people watching, thats cheap, go to the pool on mike shopping mall, cheap, go fishing to pattaya fishing park, cheap and good fun and come evening I'll go out and have a good drinking session which can be relatively cheap if you keep out of gogo's and walking street, and as for ladies, i'll have at least 1 a day, often from the coconut bar
  10. When I check into a hotel whether home or abroad I always have a quick look where the air conditioner is drawing its air from, (I've seen a few in Pattaya pulling air in adjacent to cooker vent outlets), I have a look at how I would get out if the stairway was involved in a fire and I carry a cheap battery operated smoke detector which I put on top of the wardrobe, I don't use a baht bus for any journeys that will be on fast roads, only taxis with seat belts and I'll only use motorbike taxis for short trips down the side soi's. Maybe a bit over the top but I don't want to be a 5th page story
  11. Deffo my favourite bar in pattaya, I normally go in at tea time for a few beers and a game or two of pool, think i'll breakfast there next time i'm in town, girls are great too. See you early next year
  12. Is anyone aware if the 18 coins on soi bukhou is still open, the bar website says fully booked but find that hard to believe for a hotel of this size. Does Alan still run the bar area or has he had a fall out with managment leading to the no vacancies sign
  13. Flying out to LoS mid febuary, from Manchester, any thoughts on the best time to book flights. Also, should I avoid emirates due to the financial problems in Dubai. Looking forward to meeting fellow BM's on a flb bar crawl , cheers guys
