I have not met enough Canadians to be able to form any opinion about them as a Nationality. Never been there either. But from what I read it is quite a wealthy country, where French is spoken as well as English. I have noticed though, that there is sometimes a little antagonism between US and Canada and wonder why that is ? Gun crime seems to be far lower than it is in the USA, so that must be a good thing.

With oil dropping from 150 USD per barrel now down to 40 USD per barrel, why are we not seeing this reflected in the price airline of flights.? The motorist has seen drops in fuel prices at the pumps.. Virgin say, that often, jet fuel is bought months, sometimes years in advance. So is it just a matter of waiting then ? I don't think so, and I don't think that any of the major airlines will pass on the lower running costs to the customer, any time soon, and perhaps anticipate oil prices rising again .

Great for us this year. Me and the Missus have been invited over for Xmas day by a good friend of mine.There will be loads of good food and great company. I dont have to cook, great and we will stay the night. I am not a big fan of xmas but I love the food and drink aspect. I will stock up his drink supply as a way of saying thank you.

Great stuff. On my last visit, having not been for a while prior to that. I noticed tons of structural changes and building that were never there before and some that were there before and no longer. Things do seem to change rapidly. lots of new buildings but less visitors

I have only had a finger stuck in my bottom twice, so I am a novice. One by a medical doctor and the other by a past girlfriend, so normally one way traffic and that department. Nonetheless I am interested in the benefits

I think the only way they would work is if they were like train crossings, where a physical barrier were to come down for a few minutes to let pedestrians cross. Everyone, or nearly everyone has to stop at the lights to cross the train line on the darkside, when a train is coming Don't see many motorists wanting to challenge a speeding train
