  1. A few years ago I used Purple parking and it led to my car being stolen. I left my car (and keys) whilst coming to Patts for 4 weeks. The day after my return, my car was stolen off my drive. They had cloned my keys, knew my return date and where I lived. All they had to do was wait for me to return and take it out of Purple Parking and turn up at my house at 4 in the morning with their cloned key which would bypass the alarm, then calmly drove away! KM
  2. We're due to fly in 3 weeks and my partner normally books with them, but decided to book direct with Heathrow this time as it was cheaper - lucky us!!
  3. Are you taking up dog sitting in retirement too? http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/topic/67977-dog-sitter/
  4. With respect, Sir, you have history for making comments regarding Poolhustlers, vehicle posts, so just curious why this is.
  5. Are you actually interested in buying it???? I'm sure those that are interested will be able to ask their own questions about it.
  6. I've been flying Thai 2 or 3 times a year for the past 8 or 9 years and never really have a problem with them. They always change my seat for an exit row for the extra legroom or change to a middle row if its empty so I can stretch out. No issues with service, baggage or food, although the food is nothing to write home about. Manage to use my points to get a few upgrades to business which is pretty good. All in all, not bad!! KM
  7. Try Bushcraft, one of the site members. as a new member you won't be able to send him a private message, however I'm pretty sure he'll see this and be able to arrange something. KM
  8. I never said I didn't like it, I was just suspicious of your motive No I don't read things into posts that are contrary to their intent, unless you can prove otherwise. I only have a few hundred posts for you to check, whereas you have over 12,000 - possibly increasing rapidly as you seem to be posting on every single thread on the board over the last couple of months - some posts relevant, some not so. That's not reading anything into it, that's a fact. But then again, if you start going back through my posts it will just be your opinion of if I am misreading a post, no-one else's, so realistically it matters not a jot. Regarding your army comment, I'm reading into that that you are respecting what we, as moderators do, whereas as an individual (me) you do not. I can live with that, I'm not that thin-skinned to be bothered by your opinion. Crack on, as we say in OUR army! Hope that helps KM
  9. That's very kind of you to ask on behalf of others, even though they could have asked themselves if they thought it necessary, but they obviously didn't as they didn't ask. I honestly don't know where the interest is on whether we moderate all or part of the board, but it does make me a little suspicious of your motives for asking. KM
  10. All areas. And why this needed to be a new thread, instead of a PM to any moderator, I have no idea. KM
  11. He lives there and has done for years!!
  12. Whenever I'm flying alone on Thai I change my seat at the airport. I check in early and ask if they will change my seat for an exit row seat so that I get the extra legroom. Occasionally I have someone next to me, but sometimes the middle seat is spare or even both. If I notice the flight is not full I ask to move to a centre row on my own and stretch out so I manage to get some kip. You cannot prebook exit row seats and they won't allocate to children or anyone who is unable to assist the cabin staff with the exit door should it be necessary to evacuate. KM
  13. Thank you for your enlightening first post. Welcome to the forum and we hope that all your future posts are as informative as this one KM

  15. Mr Attitude!!! Why are you bringing up something posted nearly two years ago and if you spent all that time in the industry why didn't YOU mention code sharing as an option? KM
  16. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/cheap-airport-lounge-access?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=11-Jul-17-16788832&utm_campaign=nt-oneliners-one&utm_content=2#oneoffaccess Might be something of use to anyone?? KM
  17. Yep - walked up to the door and asked how much simple as that! there is a London Pride or similar bar that I use sometimes for a couple of beers if I feel that the time I have before departure isn't worth the fee for a lounge - might be worth a shout? KM
  18. I've used that lounge. There are free alcohol drinks from the 'cool' cabinets and the bar but not sure what they qualify as 'premium' drinks. You could email orders@heathrow.com and pose them the question? KM
  19. 2012 isn't recently, it's 5 years ago. I can't be arsed responding to the rest of your patronising post.
  20. I've been travelling Thai Airways 2-3 times a year for the last ten years and I can't recall them not having seatback TVs. I also don't recall 'outdated' equipment. When did all these changes from 'worst' to 'ok' or 'good' take place? KM
  21. And now you have to pay for the Tesco bag!! KM
  22. It's what happens in the UK already, Jacko - maybe without the drunken motorbikes but we do have 'health' tourists arriving who come to the UK specifically for medical treatment on the NHS. KM
  23. Phil I'm having some problems with my box, but can't access your forums or contact you in any way. Do you have an email address? I don't use Facebook. Alternatively I'm in Pattaya until Friday if we can meet up? Thanks KM
  24. Pervert! KM
  25. When is your happy hour? Everyday?
