I'm not taking a 2 suiter and a carry-on on the train between airports,no matter the fare.Anybody have an idea what the taxi fare will be and also the driving time,both rush hour and not?

Not really.Many consulates in the US are honarary consulates that are usually at a law firm.And most go by the strict letter of the law.The one I have used in Miami (Coral Gables actually) is only open for visas 1 day a week when I last checked.And that happened when Thailand was giving out free 60 day visas.They were basically working for nothing so they cut back hours.

I lived on 14th floor of VT2A for a year and liked it.I had a large 1 b/r and was pleased with every aspect of the building and it's location.

Certainly not cheap if we're paying for it.But very nice nonetheless. I took the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 1972.And had my 1st Kobe beef then too.Amazing.

Much like the vast majority of pizza in Thailand w/o sauce.Once I did got a handful of ketchup/catsup packets to simulate pizza sauce,which should have been on the pizza,in the box.Strange.And it was a nicer restaurant just to the left exiting VT2A.

The theatre is nice and I rented my condo a few years ago from the real estate office on teh 3rd floor.Of course McDoanlds and Villa market are there and the "Mall" is across the street from Pattaya Bay Resort.During my last visit,the night market had overrun the grounds.

Yes it is.I found it to be one of the best places to watch soccer and other sports in the area.The small service staff and free pasta or stew was a nice touch also during games.I too am surprised that Paul is selling but I haven't spoken to him for over a year. Whatever the outcome I wish him and his fiance the best.

By dual carriageway I suppose you mean that divided highway between the building nearest the water (enter from Beach Rd) and the one in back (enter from divided highway).It opened when was living there and I imagine now that there is quite a bit of commerce along that route too.I really like that area.

Have you tried Pattaya Bay Resort?

I leased this condo for 3 months and getting back and forth to Pattaya was an easy 10b ride on songtaew.No,it's not in the middle of the action but try to find something that is in that price range.

I recently checked the fares and I think the sleeper is a bargan for the overnight trip.Mick had recently sent me the train info via PM.Thanks again Mick.

I leased from Eric and he is a good landlord who will correct any need right away.His rent/lease prices are fair.

I can also recommend Dancewatchers.They are quick to answer questions and require a fair deposit.They are also somewhat flexible on price so be sure to ask.
