  1. Your statement is simply not true. Futures have the added risk of time, as in options expiration. I've worked in the fixed income markets for 20 years. You're statement shows you for what you are, that is, a huckster. Take a look at the return of the S&P since WWII and you will see how to make real money over time. Your 'high yield is the only way to go' schemes, are just that, 'get rich quick' schemes. Take a fucking walk.
  2. uh, right...commodity futures... tremendous risk involved... shill it somewhere else, Mr. Used Car Salesman... by the way, it's "i" before "e', except after "c"
  3. At the moment it is cheaper to take a layover at TPE as opposed to using another airline, flying non-stop into BKK. That's what I do. I get access to the Evergreen Lounge in Chiang Kai Shek (which now has a new name). As soon as the price is comparable, I'll think seriously about going non-stop. I can usually sleep with the help of a few Tylenol PM tablets, so the flight doesn't seem too long anyway.
  4. Next to last photo: Who's the bird with the rack in the background?
  5. Very sharp photos; what equipment do you use?
  6. NFL Football Player. Why would I choose him over the other two? Easy. I stick with the steroid user; bigger muscles and an uncontrollable temper.
  7. woraburi is a dump; I don't recommend it...
  8. The pleasure was mine; all the best to you and yours in 2007.
  9. on Soi 4 you also have the bella villa prima, very similar to best beach http://www2.bellavillapattaya.com/roomrates_bvp.php hope this helps; both are good if you want to go even more upscale, check out the Mike Orchid Resort...pretty swanky although you cannot tell that from the website http://www.mikethailand.com/mikeorchidresort/ FYI: the Mike Orchid Resort is lots better than Mike Beach Resort; they're both on Soi 4, so choose carefully
  10. best beach villa on Soi 5 is a good bet...big beds, big rooms, ABF, pool with jacuzzi etc etc. http://www.bestbeachpattaya.com

  13. Agreed, I also like the ZEN chain as well. Very similar to FUJI.
  14. What is so funny about this product? If it can enhance a couple's sex life, why knock it?
  15. Write it to learn it thoroughly...IMHO.

  17. Update: story from IHT -- http://www.iht.com/bin/print.php?id=3497268 Bangkok airport experiences severe birthing pains. By Thomas Fuller, International Herald Tribune From a distance it is a shimmering edifice that rises above the surrounding flatlands like a giant space pod, a prime candidate for the cover of an architecture magazine. But do not look too closely. Six weeks after opening, the tarmac at Bangkok's new airport is cracked in several places, the bare concrete walls of the sprawling terminal appear unfinished and the arrival hall is chronically overcrowded. These are only a few of the problems and complaints that have emerged at Suvarnabhumi airport, which after four decades of debate, planning and construction opened on Sept. 28 and was supposed to cement Bangkok's role as an air hub for the region. "I hear so many complaints from my clients I don't know where to begin," said Onsuma Prompong, 38, the owner of the Tour Agency Travel Corner. "The most common are the crowding in the check-in areas, delays in check-ins and this marathon walk passengers have to endure when they're trying to reach the plane. "Dirty toilets are also a big concern," she said. That is, when travelers can find a toilet. see link to read article in its entirety
  18. I could be you're quoting rates for a suite at the Lodge during peak time, Dec 20 - Jan 3 approx. Rates go way up for the Christmas/New Year period.
  19. Where is the new location??
  20. Does anyone know the bus fare from Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya bus terminal?
  21. I will definitely try it on my next trip. If any BM takes the bus to PTY from Suvarnabhumi, please share your experience with the board.

  23. I suggest purchasing in the country where you reside; warranties are not effective outside the country of purchase, so play it safe.
  24. I've taken more than a few 747s on EVA from LAX to TPE. None of them have their interiors refurbished.
