  1. Get a Motocy, taxi, private hire a Songtaew or walk and ask for directions as you go. It's not far from Big C no need to buy a tour.
  2. If I was one of these investors I'd be looking to getting my pound of flesh at this stage of the game.
  3. How about using a weighing scales? Anybody weighing over 14 Stones is not allowed to eat the food.
  4. Which is why I have NOTHING to do with Falangs in Thailand.
  5. WOW It's really become a big event in Pattaya. Great effort made by many. Thanks for the pix, you have an unusual style.
  6. They send you to another queue to pay your overstay fees so you have to queue twice.
  7. Yes but you might not realise. Some places it might just be an armed Soldier giving you a quick look up and down. Same on the Cambo side. Repeated on your way back into LOS. Why do you ask? I used to use one of the 'Fixers' at a crossing I was using every fortnight and he would bring through anything that I asked him to for me.
  8. Cheap Charlies. Pay the 500 and don't forget to say thank you.
  9. You won't see that in the holiday brochures.
  10. You take a numbered ticket when you go in and sit and wait your turn. If there's no seats and you don't want to stand, there's a place outside where you can sit and buy a drink, snack, have a smoke, etc. There's also a place there where you can have your photo taken and photo copies made. There's a Falang working in Immigration that is a very helpful Chap who will make sure you take a ticket for the correct queue. No queue jumping allowed there but you could be waiting a long time which is why I suggest getting there as soon as the doors open for business. Last thing you want to happen is wait in the queue for hours only to be told come back tomorrow, especially on the last day of your stamp/visa. Sure beats a border run to Cambodia. I've done loads of those, been to 4 or 5 different Thai/Cambo land border crossings and whilst interesting, not particularly a fun day out.
  11. Thanks for the vids. The ones I saw were the same as 'Ninja' in your second vid.
  12. Squirrel tastes good. Very lean. Have yet to try rat, passed on it when it was offered to me at the village in Surin. Probably tastes the same but just the thought of sewer rats was enough.
  13. They let me back in so I think you'll be fine.
  14. On the menu?
  15. Anybody seen them in Pattaya? I'm not talking about a rock band but the little furry things. Not many trees in Pattaya but if you look high up in the tree tops you might catch sight of them jumping from branch to branch. If I remember correctly they have a flash of bright yellow on their fur. When I was recovering from a heart attack at the Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4, I'd sometimes unplug myself from all the wires and drips and sit out on the balcony for a smoke. Daybreak was usually the best time to have a sneaky smoke because the Nurses seemed to be busy with whatever they do. I used to watch the antics of these Squirrels. Something I'd never usually be lucky enough to witness being a night person and usually sailing three sheets to the wind. Being an animal lover they were fascinating and amusing to watch. Anybody else seen them or was it just the Morphine, lol.
  16. Without the saddles would be really impressive.
  17. I'm sure I banged this Girl a few years ago but can't remember where! If her name is Lom then it was Soi 6. Nabbed her on her first day there.
  18. They couldn't have chosen worse looking nudes. Fat ass on her. Yuck.
  19. Love the Auto Pilot. What kind of knot is that Evel? I just know you were once a Boy Scout many, many years ago.
  20. What a Nobhead. It would be a good video if they edited him out and changed the music.
  21. I don't think Farang Mongers are to blame. I think the blame lays squarely with the Bar Owners. Way too many bars with not enough money to go around so they are forced to have drink quotas for the Girls. This has been the downfall of what used to be a great place. Too many bars with too few Girls hence too few Customers and sky high prices. A vicious downhill spiral. Yes for me Walking Street started going downhill when everybody went Ladydrink crazy.
