  1. I just rated the topic 1 star just for the hell of it.
  2. I think we need to be able to give an equal amount of red and green points.
  3. You can't rate your own posts but I will quite happily hit the green button on all your posts if you leave a few beers for me at the FLB.
  4. My mistake, I meant to write 1 bed condo. You could private hire a baht bus to and from Patts everyday for @ 6K/month and it would still work out half the price of the 1 bed condo in central Pattaya.
  5. Seems to me that I can hit the green button as many times as I want but the red button only 2 or 3 times/day. Why not a 50/50 ratio?
  6. Probably imported.
  7. Tracing back to an I.P. Address is not enough. It could be for an unsecured wireless L.A.N. You need to be spoofing your M.A.C. Address.
  8. Yes and also the old Italian Lira.
  9. Slightly off topic..... last time I was in Patts, walking along the Beach Road Promenade, I saw on several occasions Ruskie Birds on the beach with their tits out. Not being a beach bum, I was quite shocked to see this. For those of you that chill out on the beach, is it quite common to see topless bathing? Do they ever get asked to cover up?
  10. Bargain of the year imho. Another guy on here advertising his 1 bed condo in Patts for 25K/Month. This is almost a quarter of the price. Ok, Studio V Condo but still...........
  11. It makes no difference what you wear. Money number 1.
  12. Looks very nice but it's cheaper to stay in a nice guest house.
  13. Pineapple gives me terrible heartburn,
  14. That's very cheap. Costs more than that for a Sunday roast dinner at most places.
  15. Why not stick the kid in an Orpanage somewhere?
  16. I've always been anti EU, just don't see the point of it. How has the UK benefited from being a part of it? We are an island nation, we should strive towards self sufficiency first and foremost. As for carbon offsetting, I'm all for it. I don't mind paying taxes as long as the taxes are spent on buying up tracts of Rain Forest, etc. If the taxes are spent on propping up failing economies I am totally against it. BTW... I've been travelling to LOS for ten years and my airfare has gotten cheaper every year. How is that?
  17. Chummy would like it there.
  18. LOL, hardly living in the lap of luxury
  19. Oh yeah, so where do you stay in Pattaya your Lordship?
  20. I've done it from England to Thailand before with Jet Air. They did pull me up at the checkin desk but after I explained that I was travelling onwards to the Philippines they let me through (even though I didn't have a ticket for the Phills). Another time, I bought a one way ticket to AC from Bangkok and Cebu Pacific wouldn't let me on the plane because I had no return/onward ticket. That's why I'm asking because there seems to be no hard rule. Thanks for your advice, I think it's probably best to try and buy some kind of cheap throwaway ticket. I don't know how long I'm going to stay in Thailand, if I did I'd buy a ticket from Bangkok to London. A cheap one way ticket to Cambodia sounds like the answer. Do you think I could get away with an invoice for a visa run by bus to the Cambodian border?
