  1. Hi, Early ? That's an Airbus.
  2. Hi, This place is never mentioned in despatches. I've looked at the website and it is a bit outside my price range. If I stayed there it would be with a lady. Seems a really nice place. I see you mentioned Residence Garden on another thread and I feel it is more suitable if you are on a mongering mission.
  3. Hi, The house journals were out in force. Just seen the video of unveiling. Seems a nice plane but very small.
  4. Hi, You haven't read mine ? I've stayed in other more "upmarket" hotels in Bangkok and its just not the same. I admit if I was with my wife it would have to be somewhere else, but as a mongers hotel it is NO 1. The location is hard to beat and the food is good quality and good value. There is a whiff of sweet Thai pussy in the air and if you need a midnight snack or meal there is a wide selection of non fattening tasty delights in the car park.
  5. Hi, I imagine as you get older the desire for beer and women lessen(not yet for me) and the costs go down The necessity of spending on health is likely to go up. I know which I prefer to spend my money on. Life's a bitch.
  6. Hi, The computer is only one issue. I was in Burma and the zip on my bag broke. Thinking like a Westerner I was going to throw the bag away but a local fixed it . Because wages are high in the West reparing things is becoming a lost art. Things are recycled in the East while we now just throw things away and buy a new one. I think our economies depend on that behaviour. Crazy World.
  7. Hi, I agree with this statement and have had arguments with some Americans who say they are not worried by the weak $. Hi, The weakness of the $ has had the effect of strenghtening the Baht.
  8. Hi, I'd say the field rats would be healthy and tasty enough. In US I believe they eat squirrels and in S.America they eat guinea pigs. I like squirrels so would not eat them, but I'm sure they are a delicacy in some parts of America.
  9. Hi, My answer to that on another thread.
  10. Hi, I hope he bankrupts the buggers.
  11. Hi, Self loathing is not the way to go mate. Now I know where you get all that anger from.
  12. Hi, Good post and one people should absorb. The illegals/foreigners have people on the inside of these organizations who give them the inside info on how to deal with the System. It is only fair that if they are getting a service those of you who have worked and paid taxes all your lives should get treatment.
  13. Hi, I think you will be OK. I've had periods when I have not visited my GP for years. I was in there last week and the place was overrun by very pushy East Europeans and they had a booking system in 6 Foreign languages.
  14. Hi, I think living in LOS would be different than living in falangland. The weather is better and there is more life lived on the street than say Norway. I would very rarely cook anything with the multitude of Thai places all around that provide excellent and inexpensive food. I would spend lots of time in bars and by the swimming pool as well, so my condo would be a place for resting up sometimes and of course sleeping. Some people in falangland hardly ever leave their house other than to work and do their weekly shop at the local shopping centre. In those circumstances you would need more room in your home but that is a completely different way of life.
  15. Hi, If the plane makes it on time I will say Well Done. However, you have to be a delusional fool if you believe that guff from Seattle.
  16. Hi, If Scally ever done a bibliographical reference it would list the most unknown journals in the history of Mankind.
  17. Hi, Too true mate. If Boeing was going bust the US Government would use taxpayers money to bail them out in the "interests of national security". I dont think there is a free market in any industry. There are plenty of cartels where companies arrange prices between themselves. Thats the way of the World and I can't see it changing any time soon.
  18. Hi, Because of you questioning whether Airbus were cooking the books I quoted the deliveries in 2006. Are you saying these are wrong as well ? AIRCRAFT DELIVERED IN 2006 Airbus: 434 Boeing: 398
  19. Hi, I know some American boardies on here question Airbus methods of counting orders so I've decided on a cast iron accounting sytem. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6765461.stm AIRCRAFT DELIVERED IN 2006 Airbus: 434 Boeing: 398
  20. Hi, Well that US Airways order they were going to get instead of Airbus is one they no longer have to worry about.
  21. Hi, More than one cowboy at that party I think.
  22. Hi, They'll be representing US now.
  23. Hi, I dont know enough about the Thai economy to judge but it seems like they are blaming Thaksin for throwing money around to buy popularity. That may or may not be true. The main problem at the moment is their policies seem to be frightening off foreign investment and residents alike which will have a big effect. Maybe they are going to address that issue in the final article ?
  24. Hi, I agree with BigD on this one. Lots of nice girls about who are reasonable. Just depends on the circumstances and being prepared to put in the hard yards. The hard yards are part of the fun for me but if you want to hit the GoGo's and BF a stunner quickly for €€€'s "Up2U".
