Just like Sa-teef, I have the sony camera that can shoot infrared, but mine can see through swimsuits and bikinis. I have the filters that make the camera see only infrared images. I am sure the military guys would love my camera! Too bad I cant post some pics here!

That first trip to Pattaya

LeoTex, it was me that passed you the info, I am glad you had a great time in SR. Its a wonderful place, with great historical importance, unlike PP. I had the oppertunity to go to a Khmer wedding of Sens cousin, it was very cool, and Sen was the best guide. Everyone knows him and you are safe with him, even in the scary areas. My next adventure in a couple of months is Pattaya, then to ChaingRai, and Burma. T_T

I stayed at the mekong ankor $25 and Sen was our driver $25 a day. You need lots of small $US dollars, $1s $5s, $10s, and nothing larger than a $20 The safety box was a community wooden box at the front desk, a bit un-nerving, but no problems. Good idea to bring a locking bank bag and keep your daily money in pre made envelopes, I made envelopes with a total of $50 a day, in small bills, and had an envelope with some serious cash on the side. If you can, spend 2 to 3 days touring Ankor Wat, its unbelieveable! I do not like Phnom Penh, it is a waste of time, dirty and not safe. The 2 sightseeing places in PP are the torture camp, and the killing fields, 2 awful places with very sad histories.

I'll be there in October too, I can get the "chinese" discount for you! Hah, you can even watch me ride the baht but for 5 baht too!
-
You have to ask for the Chinese discount, it helps too if you are part Chinese too! Mr. Wong came down 500bt for me!
-
Be ready for 2000bt for a stainless steel mariner or yacht master. The quality is unbelieveable, I do have a real one, and my replica looks just as good! Mr.Wong is way in the back of the market, he is a very nice guy!

Please try them and post your results, the price seems a bit high! Most of the seasoned members will go upstairs to the departure floor and catch a taxi when they drop off a passenger. I found that works well, just walk past all the touts trying to sell you 1800 to 2500 rides, and pay 1200 to 1400 to go to pattaya.

I think it has to do with diet? There are people with different smells from all over the world, its the ones that you pass by on the street and first you notice that all the plants and flowers are dead, then the smell comes! I am not going to point the finger at any Euro country, but to me it seems the Germans have the lead? Then for the real winners in the Asian country, the India people are the strongest smelling (foul). I dont know if those people that smell bad are handicapped? Like the hearing impared? Are they Smelling impared?

I checked out the Apex, it looked dirty to me, the rooms had an awful smell of euro body odor, and cigarettes. I stay at the baybreeze for 500bt.
-
baybreeze30@hotmail.com the contact name is Phayow Whatever you do, do not book from a website, make a reservation and just show up, its 500bt a night. I will be there in Oct for a month stay.
-
Just down the street is Baybreeze hotel, I stay there on every trip. They are run by very nice people. Its only 500bt a night and they have an in room safe. The maids are very trustworthy and my room was always very clean. Its very close to everything for me, made in thailand market, kiss food and drink, soi 9 & 8 & 7.
