Rakit i think your comment that Phuket Air is like a "lottery " is spot on and sums them up !! Yes you are right that P.A have money probs ,word is they cut there back on there uk flights partly due to the tusnamui and also to the forthcoming EU regulations on air travel compesation that Cheshire Tom recently posted about . Regards Matty Good luck with your flight

Well with all the posts mainly bad about Phuket air i thought i would post my views . Rakit are you paying attetion? My tuesday flight from LGW left bang on time ,the plane was an ex-klm 747-300 painted in P.A. colours but the klm branding was clear to see all over the inside of the aircraft. Once airborne the service was pretty good plenty of drinks and the food was real nice -now thats a big compliment from me as my last 4 flights on Eva Air and Sing Air i did not like the food at all. Have to admit IMHO there was not much diffrence in the comfort stakes compared with the

Hi tom . I came out with phuket air about a week ago and was expecting the worse, well what a surprise . Bang on time ! Plenty of food and drink (liked it better than my recent Eva and sing air flights !!!) Plane was a ex-klm ,seats o.k. even for my fat arse I reckon if they keep being late when these new eu regulations come in to effect later this month they might go bankrupt!!! Regards Matt

Matty replied to sensei's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Stayed at Solitare bout a month ago one word TOP NOTCH Had a platnium suite booked at tha cost of $89 (54 quid) which comes with plasma screen jacuzzi etc ,well upon check in they say "no room " we will upgrade you to tha penthouse suite well i felt like a celeb or sumthing massive bed ,seprate dining area with a proper sized fridge ,cooker and well tha bathroom was huge ,the whirlpool bath was big enough for 3 :) The only downside is that it is a ten min walk right to the end of soi 11. Hope this helps. Matt ps.will try and post some pictures i took. -
H Try www.ourstravel.com they have £555 plus taxes(60 quid i reckon) so it might come in a bit cheaper than £637 . Regards Matt
-

Well i am a big fan of SV never costs me more than a 1000 a night as i normally stay low season and there is sumtimes an offer book 14 nights and pay for 12 . Other plus points are that the rooms are nice with a very large bed and my requests for extra towels, pillows, bottled water are met with a "no probs " attiude. Yes the swimming pool is on the roof and when ever i have been swimming there has never been more than 4 people lounging round it so not much of a good vibe ,mind u there is no probs with your TG using the pool like some hotels . The front desk guys are top notch

Kj Reckon it would be wise to skip the bella on soi 4 ,i was talkin to a guy last week who just moved out of there ,he could not understand how they spent all that money on tha place and then didnt bother to hire a housekeeping dept!! His words were a shit hole!! Think there are some negative reports on this place in hotel reviews as well. Why not try sunshine vista on soi 3 ? Matty
