Not until you get an eye infection, then many tend to sour on getting tainted water sprayed in their face. -

Slight TF, but a good steak is not an oxymoron in Thailand. Best spot for beef in Thailand imo is Neil's off Wireless in Bkk. It is worth the visit. -

No, if you think healthcare is expensive in the US now just wait until it is free. Despite all of the media hype millions will still be uncovered by Obozocare. How did that "gun free" DC work out for that Navy center mass shooting last month?

Tijuana is good but for most folks from places other than the US, Angeles or Subic is likely a better situation. Personally, I think Tijuana is a better situation for me coming from Texas but I feel a lot safer in Angeles and for me Angeles is cheaper. It was "modern" compared to the Apex. I suppose the new places are better today but I

Nice pictures. I would give you a green if I was a voter. Is the old Lido movie house in Siam still there? I heard it might have been torn down after the red shirts riots and turned into a 7/11 or something even less unique. One day if not already Thais will regret tearing down these older places ... well maybe not Wild Country.

I forgot my password and used the reset function which worked well allowing me to get back onto the forum but it uses a long and cumbersome new password which I want to personalize/change to suit me. The reset message refers me to the control panel as does the help topics of the board but I cannot find the control panel. Can someone please provide some simple instructions of where to find the control panel feature?

I'm new to this board and will be in Pattaya for the first time next month. My question to more experienced people is whether it is common for nightclubs/bars, etc. to have cover charges, i.e., a fee for entrance?
