Fire At Muay Thai Stadium
Fatboyfat replied to forcebwithu's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Good to hear a plus report on the fire brigade. I have always had my doubts on their abilities in the face of a major fire in Thailand. I am also astounded that there are not more major fires in Pattaya, than actually occur, with the electrical "system" prevalent. "There by the grace of Buddha" I suppose. -
Unlikely, I would have thought, however SMS and the other 'baccy companies are very likely to have put their own price hoik in at the same time.

Flipping idly through the Sophon channels, when I came across this "Thrash metal/Chipmunks" fusion track! Apparently it's gone "viral", whatever that means!! (Just kidding! ) Probably belongs in the "funnies" section, but I am listening to it !

We should be able to deal with the loss of Rooney, and Martial probably can cover him in the short term, it is the rest of the players that are the problem, and LVG obstinacy the biggest problem of all. Shrewsbury could well be "licking their lips in anticipation" for Monday/Tuesday's game!

Donald Sutherland

He was also one of the lead actors, in addition to directing it; a clue for moving onward too! The only reason I mentioned his director duties, is that he is "better known" as a director than an actor.

24 hours......(must be now). There is not really an easy "out" for this one. I'd dearly like to profer the wonderfully named Sarah FELCHER (obviously not a 70s word!!), but that would inevitably lead to another dead end; So the best hope could be the director, who at least acted in a couple of other major films........ John Cassavetes

Early days I know, but are you planning "delivery" or sign up with Door2Door at all?

And you thought Pattaya lacked 'culture'?
Fatboyfat replied to galt67's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Ah yes,....but the "Bayshore" has Morakot Cherdchoo-ngarm on KEYBOARDS!!!!!! -
To achieve any kind of longevity I feel it has to be a combination of "club loyal" ex youth players combined with regular "marquee" signings and top players. Buying in stock alone, is not working for anyone at the moment in the long term. The top clubs are spending a fortune on facilities, recruitment and training for these youngsters, but seem loathe to introduce them into the senior side, unless there is a dire injury crisis. United's average squad age is not much different to Tottenham. 3rd youngest in the league as opposed to the youngest. Liverpool have the 2nd youngest as a matter of i

Excellent movie.. part of the hilarious double act: Peter Falk

'Twas a tongue in cheek suggestion, although I think they will get past Mitjiwhatsitsname. I think they were the lot that ko'd Southampton,; Nothing exceptional from what I remember, and Southampton were really crap at the start of the season. Sod's law, we'll probably turn over Arsenal in the next league match, and all "will be well" with Van Gaal again. It does seem to be arranged that he will "walk" at the end of the season prior to the next appointment (Moaninho) though. I wonder whether Pochahontas at Spurs has been really sounded out, his stock is ever rising; My source suggests that my

I had that problem once (no busted locks though) I sort of expected it though, as the transit time in Schipol (75 minutes) was pushing it for me on foot, let alone baggage transfer.

British pensioners arrested and detained in Pattaya

I was "apprehended" about 20 years ago for playing with "the devil's lego" or dominos in a bar. Cost me 500 Baht! First and last time I ever had to pay the "Long Time Rate" to a pig! -
The Bridge on the River Kwai

Because Russians and, let's face it, most tourists, are paying a Baht bus at least 200Baht for a "not so private" hire, often for distances of less than 1 Km. (According to one of the brother-in-laws, who runs his own privately owned Baht Bus, mainly from the Bali Hai area, anyway.)

Perfumes are items that I was regularly asked to bring out from UK when living there. Every single item (apart from the truly ridiculous priced "Magnum of Chanel 5 etc. ) was cheaper on the high street, and even in the non-duty free area of the airport (Boots) at times. Abu Dhabi & Dubai sold ciggies at genuine duty free prices when I was a smoker. I used to get 2000 Silk Cut there outbound trips, and specifically pick flights that went via those hubs!

I'm pretty certain Utd will be out of the top 6 come the end, as will Liverpool and Chelski. All of their hopes on Champions League next season would be to "seriously concentrate" on and win their relative European competitions, unlikely as that would seem. I reckon Tottenham will forfeit their Europa chances tho', as they have done previously, even when having no chance in the league.

I think you are bitching at the wrong person here!

Happy as "dung visited by pigs" now?!?!? Thankfully I missed most of it. I might have a major rant/whinge later!

Educating Rita is the only one of her films that comes "instantly to mind" here! Hardly obscure ! I thought that was a 1930s movie! Guess I'll need another 24 hours! Wonder if that will get me out of the Valentines Day crap later!?
