Try http://www.kpkfoods.comThey provide a cook and deliver and carve if necessary service. Not sure about Xmas "gobblers" but would expect them to. Edit in, They ony deliver the cooked joints etc and not the veg & trimmings so probably not what you are after.

Not sure about the other classes Fiend, but the Biz class is more "cramped" on the A340/600 (and all the smaller Airbusses) than on the 777s. Seat size similar, but aisles much narrower, and overhead lockers are about half the size. The "craphouses" seem far more claustrophobic too !

There are at least 5 "genuine" New Zealanders playing for Japan through residency regulations. That is probably more "real" New Zealanders than there are playing for the All Blacks. Japan more or less have to enhance their side this way, as the general physical attributes of their race do not allow them to compete properly. The game itself is hugely appreciated and supported by the Japanese due to the "teamwork" emphasis on the game, and the award of the next World Cup was long overdue. Hope I'm still fit enough to attend it there myself! The residency regulations still reflect the old amateu

Defence has improved hugely, thanks in no small part to somewhat surprising incredible improvement in Smalling's play. Van Gaal has also stopped messing about with the dismal (for us anyway) 3 man defence. Hope he doesn't revert to it with the unfortunate leg break to Shaw, who was also playing really well. England have cover for Shaw, we at Utd. don't really have any.

I have to say I view this with a touch of sceptism. No question, these fully competitive games are really popular at the moment, but would it last? There was a big flurry of interest in "gridiron" back in the 80s, but it did not last at a high level; support for "non-traditional" sports in UK can be very fickle, even parochial, with regards to say Rugby league outside of the M62 corridor oop north. How dependent is the NFL on supporters "bums on seats"? I genuinely have no knowledge of that, and it could be unimportant. Maybe not a problem for the UK based franchise, but the US based franchi

Burgess came on too late to have any real effect either way, although he appeared lucky to me, not to be sent to the bin at the same time as Farrell, for yet another "round the neck" tackle. He should have come on when May went off injured.

I'll be there. Looking for some good cheer after tonights depressing performance at Twickenham.

I am predicting that Advocaat will "fall on his sword" next week, at Sunderland, and by the sounds of it not even if they manage a result against West Ham. Despite my earlier reservations with regard to Brendan Rogers at Scousehampton, his demise may very well come too, should they perform poorly against Everton. McClaren looks reasonaby secure for the moment at Newcastle; especially if Ashley, with typical spite, thinks the supporters don't like him. The quiet fortnight for clubs , due to internationals, provide an opportunistic window for cut-throat owners!

There are native Jocks going down with 3rd degree sunburn in Edinburgh at the moment !!! -

Of course the "official" supplier of met. services and data to Thailand is the UK Met office ! However, the local Pattaya press and council "may" not be using it, or making up their own premonitions from the raw data. All of the newspapers in UK do that, but blame the MetOffice once their cheapo versions interpret the data wrongly! -
It is a strange coincidence that not one of the top 6 teams star strikers from last season are really firing at the moment. Aguero, Rooney, Costa/Hazard, Sanchez , Kane, Benteke (in a way). Maybe they don't like the proper break from football that most of them (South Americans excepted) got this year!

United have a "potentially very dangerous" October coming up. I shall keep my optimism in check until November!

There is a strong "El Nino" present at the moment and is expected to last through into April"ish" next year. That normally means "relative" drought for Thailand, but Typhoons out to the East increase greatly in frequency. Tends to give rise to that dried out condition, interspersed with drastic floods from the remnants of the typhoons. -
Horses for courses. Wales give away penalties, and Farrell is by far the most accurate kicker. Also Wales rely a lot on the big crash bang unit that is Roberts... Burgess and latterly Farrell snuffed him out. As for outside centre, the original squad selection was at fault (as commented on by all and sundry at the time); Once Joseph is injured there is no suitable replacement. I fully expect Ford and if fit, Joseph to be re-instated for the Aussie match, as a more offensive lineup; Conversely, Haskell may have to come in for Vunipola too, to counteract the Aussie back row at the break-down.

Yet another "competition deciding" disastrous decision by England captain Robshaw last night. He has history with such final minutes decisions. Not even speaking in retrospect here; there were gasps (and expletives) of disbelief all around me last night, at the time. Surely if we can work out there and then that the best option (taking into account that England already have the extra bonus point from Fiji, and play the whipping boys Uruguay last of all), is to kick for the draw; The guy that is trusted and paid to make those decisions should be able to! Now even if by some minor miracle they

Yeah I don't like these hatchet jobs on the basis of one person with one meal. The restaurant businesses, which are one of the hardest lines to suceed in, can be severely affected by these sort of gripes. Not such a problem on this type of "Pattayaly Wise" forum, but a nightmare on things such as Tripadvisor. Mass incidences are fair game though. Last year, a friend that we were dining with, ended up with some kind of food poisoning, almost certainly caused by oysters, from one of the most prestigous restaurants in Pattaya (begins with a B ). Neither he, nor I, would even consider putting that

I always wondered whether it was evidence of the resident Cockhouse cabaret act's bottle tricks being caught on camera led to its demise!

Too hot in Dubai, and I personally am giving up driving. The "missus" is also banned from driving in UAE! (long and uninteresting story). Thanks for the links, athough it doesn't quite cover what is in effect "a gift" transaction on my behalf. Looks though it would qualify for a minimum of 70% rebate though due to fact it is some 45 years old.

Has anyone any details or experience on approximate costs and viability of importing cars into Thailand (2nd hand value circa £30,000). I am in the process of selling off my small selection of cars in UK, but was considering importing a 1970 Morgan +8 into Thailand. I don't intend to drive it myself (I have no residency/retirement visa) but am considering it as a gift to the family (the "missus" loves it ), and it is unsuitable for use in Dubai.

Best advice I have had has been "Not to touch those bunches of prawns being steamed on a mobile food cart that travels around the Sois". Many years ago when I had a bar, a married couple friends of mine bought a couple of bunches of these at the bar. My missus at the time grabbed them off of the pair and threw them in the bin! By the time they reach that particular point of sale they are far too old, according to the Thais. Co-incidentally ( or was it ) the bar cat was found dead the next morning

I was at St. Marys on Sunday. Trouble with going to "away" matches is that you are lumped in with all of the "scumbags" that you can avoid for the home matches. Martial impresses me (bearing in mind that we have suffered mass press-induced hysteria for new young strikers before ! Anyone remember Macheda? ), in particular his attitude and subdued actions when scoring. (Ridiculous goal celebrations are yet another "grumpy old man" pet hate of mine! ) I still think we paid to much for him, but "alledgedly" his salary is not one of the "super-silly" ones (yet!). Van Persie was costing over £13 M

Surely, surely destined for Sunderand !It is the sort of club I could see the currently unemployed Klopp suceeding at, but would he work for Ashley?
