This airline are extending all of that stuff down to Biz too mlc. Only first class seems relatively unaffected, apart from flexibility (which has always been the case).

Etihad are about to split all their fares up to take into account no luggage, seat booking, ticket changes etc. Although, if you book through the airline's website the options should all be fairly clear, I do foresee problems with those that book through third party travel agents. They could well advertise a really cheap rate, which you find later, does not include many of the amenities and conditions that you are used to. Worse still charge normal price and pocket the difference for a much reduced service which you only find out about too late.

I have yet to find who gets to use the buggy, other than VIPs! I travel 1st most of the time now, and it is never an option with the airlines I use. I did a couple of trips where I needed assistance (leg in cast), but that was wheelchair; I did ask at the time about the buggies, but the "wheelchair driver" said that the only "mode of transport" for the infirm was by manual wheelchair, and the electronic walkways were also out of bounds to them.

Agree, they will probably have to play "Houdini" again. I could have sworn that events at the end of last season were going to result in Sunderland appointing Fat Sam (The type of manager they need to get them more secure). The aircraft may be the same, but different airlines always have different seat arrangements. BA have always been pretty awful in "cattle class", no matter which aircraft they use.

There have always been charlatans in Pattaya. The Germans (or 1 in particular) probably started it all off from a foreigner point of view. There are now rip-off and conmen of all nationalities active in the market, especially since about 2000, when that particular German lost his "control". Never, ever buy off-plan would be a good mantra.
