It might help if you described the circumstances where such a thing happened.
-
True. Arabic, Russian, and Hindi might be more effective. Btw, all proceeds go into the staff tip jar, not the bar income.
-
I really love that place , and if you're not a customer, why should you be allowed to use the toilets in a bar or restaurant without paying? Free access then doesn't mean free cost to use. Gotcha.
-
As you know, the law and the reality on the ground are somewhat different. If the existence of this law is true, then why do you have to pay 5b to use a toilet in a bar area? Just go in and say it's free to the public....right.

It's a great location for someone who needs to be in Pattaya daily Is it in a village with security or standalone?
-
I think you buy the company that "owns" the house. You don't need to have your own company. Terry -- got any pics of the kitchen? And, does it come furnished or empty?
-
FAF. Well done guys. LOL

But, but....soi7 on secrets says he met him and confirmed it was the same guy that wrote the posts.

Yes, you're right, and my statement shouldn't have said "every one of the posters". However, of the top four posters in this thread, two are moderators on pattayalive. The other two are Dave and logan.
-
And, oddly enough, every one of those "members" is a mega-poster on PL. Isn't that a coincidence? You know mulphy has a hardon for Canterbury Tales, he's run it down and tried to verbally assassinate the place in at least one thread on PL, so it's not surprising that an outside observer (e.g. spike) might think that the bunch of you are muppets, carrying on his (typical) vendetta against some other business owner.

Pattaya beach is filthy and full of rats

Gotcha! Thanks for being the catalyst to my rather late epiphany. Now I've seen the light. -
Pattaya beach is filthy and full of rats

I'd describe it as more of an unsubstantiated claim based on dubious proof and speculation. Oh hell. I'll just jump on the bandwagon. Oh those silly, ignorant, dirty Thais are so much below our Western standards. How's that? -

I just don't see anything in the photos shown to indicate they are pushing the trash into the water. It's pure conjecture, based on the photos, to say "Obviously, they kept pushing into the water". It makes sense to use the smoother waterline sand area to make a line of trash that can be easily picked up once it is in a line. I've seen the same thing back in the days when Mexican gardeners actually raked and picked up leaves rather than blowing them into the neighbors' yards in California. A photo of someone actually pushing the trash into the water, rather than putting it in an easily picked up line would help a lot to make the case that that is what is being shown. To reiterate joek's comment, pushing it into the water, whether 6 inches or 3 feet is not going to accomplish anything at making the beach look cleaner. Everything will come in with the next wave and be left at the water line as before. Any pictures of the trash being pushed into the water? -
Some of you think that what you have to talk about is so important that you have to use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in your topic titles. I'm sure if you could use BOLD, larger fonts, and colors, you'd do that too. This is a democratic forum where your topic title should be in the same format as the other topic titles. It makes for easier reading. Let your words in the topic title grab the attention, not the use of extra large letters. If I see a topic title that is ALL CAPITAL LETTERS or tries to grab attention by the use of punctuation or caps, it will simply be deleted. GOT IT?

I'm never sure which place people are talking about when they say to go to the end of the road, but this place, "Lung Sai", is at the very end of the road before it heads east. The kitchen is across the street from the restaurant, but there didn't seem to be much traffic when I was there. Here's a picture of their front entrance http://www.pattayaphotoguide.com/?t6YRUgGvkcuC8CAA

A nice video from Devil den to get you in the mood
MM replied to berettakid's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
I don't think so. I checked all the moderator logs and see no action on this topic. I too was wondering why you put it in Silly Topics. I think, since it's about a Pattaya business, I'll move it to the Bars/Gogos section. -
I think his point is that it is his personal decision, based on his own tolerance for risk....not yours or anyone else's. There are way too many people in life that make other people's business their own...it's what has messed up the "nanny states" for most of us (with a unintentional bow to Bush Pig there for using his phrase myself).

That's a good one!
-
Absolutely scandalous. Okay, logan, if you are Dave, would you stop posting under Canterbury Tales threads?
-
Every one of those who noticed the oddity have one thing in common. If logan and Dave are the same person, it will be addressed. It would not be the first time a business owner has been deceitful with regard to posting as a customer.
-
That's similar to the opinion Dave expressed as well.
-
I spoke to Dave today, and he told me logan is out of town, but will be returning shortly. It's not conclusive, but knowing Dave helps in making him credible, at least to me. You guys can choose to believe what you want. It makes no difference in the scheme of things.
-
I don't see a problem with it. You have to realize that those who are calling you a muppet are muppets of the first order carrying someone else's water. Muppets. I'd be happy to meet you, Bob. I'll drop by in the next few days.

I've always had a good meal at the Golf Club. If I'm in the area, it's my place of choice for a bite to eat.
