Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

  1. Thanks for your help.
  2. The question referred to his old site and questions that came up. I'd prefer to hear the answer from Gabor, since he might know if such an accusation was made, and if there was any basis to it.
  3. Yeah, that jumped out at me too. Gabor, you have been accused in the past of posting pics from the forums on your website. You're not doing that, are you?
  4. Thanks! Good luck with the business.
  5. I just want to know why businesses feel they have to SHOUT to get attention.
  6. nimbus, I already pointed it out once, but I'll give you another chance due to your lack of English skills. Read this post http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34066 Now, edit your topic title to remove the ALL CAPS in your title. I will be removing posts that do not comply tomorrow.
  7. To the OP, please read the pinned topics at the top of this forum section. You can edit your post so it complies with the rules (hint -- read about posts with ALL CAPS in the title). If not completed in the next 24 hours, I will delete your post.
  8. If you want to cook it yourself, Villa Market at the Avenues, has some specialty Japanese imported beef. I'm not sure if it's Kobe or what, but it's quite expensive.
  9. People who decide to jump, but don't do it, draw a crowd, stop traffic, are really looking for attention...but at what cost to the rest of the population? In this case, his lingering on a crowded bridge in a very populous town had traffic stopped (and waiting, presumably) for 5 hours before the guy was given a nudge. If there were 10,000 people sitting in cars and simply waiting for the guy to jump, that's nearly 6 years in aggregate of peoples' lives wasted while this putz makes up his mind. Who knows how many people were made late for critical appointments, ambulances rerouted, and all the other things that happen when a bridge is closed? I think the best approach would have been to just leave him there, let traffic continue and put a cushion under his projected fall spot.
  10. Guys, stop thread fucking this thread.
  11. That's a common complaint. I've tried several times to work with them on receiving and replying to emails, but whenever they get a staff change on the reservation desk, it gets messed up again. When I first started tracking emails from the forum sent to them, it turned out they were all going into their junk mail which they didn't check. All I can say is that we (FLB) should have a decent corporate agent rate (similar to Agoda and other booking agencies) without the requirement to pay up front and no cut for the middleman. But, if they can't get their act together to reply to emails, I'm out of that loop.
  12. Alex, they sent me a rate sheet good until Oct 31, 2009. I moved out of there last October, so they may or may not be honoring it anymore. I think they should though, since the FLB connection books a lot of rooms for them that they might not have through other channels. Also, in your penultimate post, you mentioned the quotes you received for the monthly stay, but didn't mention which hotel you were trying to book. They all have different rates. Have they said to you that the FLB rate is no longer available?
  13. I seldom bother to delete cookies unless I'm having trouble logging into a site, and then I might do it because they might have changed the cookie format or my local cookie is messed up somehow.
  14. That's what I thought, but checking my bills today, I have TOT phone service, but use TTT-Maxnet for my ADSL service. Apparently it's not bundled with the phone service carrier.
  15. Try "Deeow deeow. Glap eek sip nathit daai mai krap" Sort of says "hold on, can you come back in 10 minutes, please?" Or at least, I think that's what I'd say.

I put it in the Funnies section because I thought it was funny...as in peculiar.
  17. Great stuff! Thank you for putting the link here.
  18. You can't link your pictures to pattaya-addicts storage server. They probably put in some code to prevent other sites pulling photos off their site (uses up their bandwidth). You need to host your photos/images somewhere else if you want to use them anywhere other than pattaya-addicts. Try signing up for www.photobucket.com. They are pretty good.
  19. I don't think your neighbor down the street thinks so!
  20. What a hoot!
  21. Glad to hear it. If it works for others who have mentioned it, then we're ok.
  22. Try it now. I've been told by the software support folks who wrote the board software that the problem is resolved. It seems my cookies were crumbling.
  23. Click on this : http://www.pattayapages.com/residence
  24. Oh, my aching head. Time for me to contact software support. I'll get back to you.
  25. I just tried an experiment where I used two computers on different networks with different IP addresses to log into pattayatalk at the same time. Both logins were accepted and remained. I then closed both browsers and then reopened my sessions with ptalk on each computer. I was still logged in on both computers. I think it's something else. Puzzling. Can you try this? On the main page, when you're looking at the forum section listing, there is a clickable line that says "Delete all cookies for this board" or something like that. Can you click that. You'll need to log in again after that, but I'm thinking you might have a "damaged" or incompatible cookie from the old board software.
