I have a multi-page document/contract that they sent me. If I can figure out the way to post it with the least work possible, I will. Until then, just check the rack rate against the FLB rate and see which is better.

The procedure above is a bit different from that suggested by LK Group. Their procedure required a customer to send me an email, and then I would forward it to them. Being lazy and having no interest in being in the middle, I opted for the procedure above. Unfortunately, it won't be until tomorrow (July 4) that I inform them of the change to the suggested procedure.

I've been told by the LK Group that the FLB rate (corporate travel agent rate, really) works at all the LK properties (Renaissance, Royal Suites, Mantra Pura, and Metropole). However, it's now low season, their occupancy numbers are down, and they are reportedly giving a better rate for walk-ins...sometimes 40-50% off. Check if they have the low season deep discount before settling for the FLB rate (which is about 35% off the published rate).

This thread has become pointless. Whatever the issue is between the two parties (or however many personalities are present amongst them), it is of little interest to the rest of it. Find another forum to carry this on. Oh, thread closed.

You have the correct email. It's google mail, how could it be wrong :-) I don't know of any reason for the problem getting through. Check the spelling again Google mail has millions of happy customers.

Yes, I know. It's crass of me, but there are these "choppers" around Thailand that are fitted like choppers and are big bikes with peanut sized engines. They are wide handled, heavy bikes with puny motors. They look good standing still, but can be outrun by a Honda Wave. What do I care? After volsfan's story, I'm out to buy a car this week anyway.

Is this a 150-195 cc "chopper"? Or, to be blunt, how big is the engine on this prize?

This is f...ing silly. Who gives a hoot about a number next to their name? Big number means smarter? more knowledgeable? Folks, relax. The problem is in the hands of the forum software authors. You'll just have to do with your small counts until they can fix it. Please don't start any more topics on this issue. It's being worked on.
