So, last month I finally finished the Flashman Papers and was hoping to start something a bit smaller..like a single book series But, I happened to see an announcement that BBC America (what's that?) was going to show a TV series starting October 10, 2015 based on one of the books in Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Stories series. Soooo....I started reviewing what I had read about Saxon Stories, and I had already read 4 of the novels in the series up to the point where the author had written at the time. He has been busy and written another 4 (with a 5th to be released imminently) and so it'

The lines at Telewiz Tuk.Com were about 15 people long each time I saw them. I passed the counter 3 times. -
Now they are tearing up Jomtien beach pathways

Recently, another boondoggle redo of the beach has begun in Jomtien. Right now it goes from the Thappraya intersection to about Soi 8 Beach Road. -
I was just searching for flights to the USA (SFO) from BKK and found a nice award flight, short layover, short travel time. Thai Air to Tokyo, UAL to USA. I clicked on it and got this...

Yes, but I bought mine at Powerbuy. Like Idefix, I don't care for the idea of having a large, delicate, electronic device shipped to me, especially if I might have to ship it back for service or refund.

Did he not make the move to Jomtien, or made it and then came back to Day/Night or what?

I think you may have nailed it, Sunny, except you forgot stage 7 also is an opportunity to blame the USA or the EU for meddling.

Looks huge...and very Chinese influenced. -
First of all, the widening is complete (for this year, until they come up with some other pork barrel project for the road, walkway, or beach)..as for how far it is...I think it's all the way from North Pattaya Road to Pattaya Tai...I could be wrong, since I don't go that way too often, and I'm not looking at anything but traffic when I do.

I did read, and the article alluded to, that the Bangkok police raided two night spots last night in enforcing this order...which hasn't even been promulgated in the Royal Gazette yet. They probably made some nice coin out of that move.
-
Now the Justice Minister is saying the original order under Section 44 dictator rules was "misunderstood" and it will be at least 6 months before the new rules are implemented with newly drawn entertainment zones. http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/635940/paiboon-secton-44-alcohol-ban-misunderstood

You might try Steak & Co. On Soi Lengkee for similar fare.

Fries were excellent. The sauce was very nice..ate it all. Not sure if it was tartar sauce, since it was very mild.

I have and the meal is delicious. He has a cheaper (99 baht) F&C, but for a bit more (140b?) the cod is the best choice.

I have TRUE cable, and it works fine. My wife uses it to watch youtube videos with Thai dubbing...seems there's thousands of movies that have been uploaded to youtube with Thai language spoken, even western films...last night she watched Wicker Man, the horrible 2006 remake. Oddly enough, when I couldn't understand the dialog, it was a better movie than the spoken English version.

I do frequently, since I come down Chaiyapoon from 3rd Road to go to LKM. It's a challenge, but if you go slowly and carefully, you can avoid most of the holes. It is hard to do while scanning the girls in the MPs, but because i have to go very slowly, I can get a longer look, especially if I have to feign confusion about which pothole to avoid.

I always order it lightly heated in the microwave with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that I hope will melt all over the pie as I eat it.

When I used the Schwab debit card, the rate I got was the same or very very near the telex wire rate, which is better than the rate for cash notes. I was very impressed by that, myself.
