  1. Not on their 787 no but have on other carriers and they are not good either.
  2. I flew on Qatar on their "premier" flight QR002 to Doha in summer of 2016. Evening departure 9.30pm (think its 8.30pm when its GMT) and it was on a A330 with the most appalling leg room and instrusive underseat entertainment boxes I have ever seen. Notwithstanding that we were parked on a remote stand and bussed to the terminal 2nd leg on A380 was fine same in reverse sectors
  3. not sure anyone was implying that as such
  4. its showing 10 across in first image...agree at first glance it does look like 2 seats on the wings but its 3...look carefully and you can see in addition the images later ARE indeed 2-4-2 god alone knows what they are trying to display there
  5. going 10 abreast on the 777's https://www.businesstraveller.com/business-travel/2018/03/05/british-airways-releases-images-ten-across-b777s/?utm_source=Business+Traveller+International+Newsletter&utm_campaign=1ff8f504f3-Your_weekly_business_travel_briefing+Mar+8+17&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0f9ce7ba66-1ff8f504f3-162953081
  6. So you were flying internationally in turbo prop aircraft ?? Oman aviation started in 1993...read right hand side for precis. Try winding your fucking neck in next time
  7. 1979.....?? Not even in existance till 1993. Decent airline and new Muscat terminal opens in march https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oman_Air
  8. I walked right beside this place Saturday night absolutely empty. Wont stay open much longer I would imagine
  9. You may be right but as i said earlier in the thread cant think of one single reason in using UTP if you're pattaya bound
  10. UTP is at best 15 minutes closer to pattaya then suvarnabhumbi. I cannot for the life of me think of one reason why it would be better for pattaya bound visitors. You'll find the taxi companies even charge higher than the usual 1000 baht swampy/pattaya
  11. yes looked quality product as i walked by last year to cattle (which was very good i will add)
  12. You're going way to long out of your way on this one.....total airtime must be horrific
  13. I will try it from the link next time I book but rarely find booking websites cheaper than direct but happy to try again
  14. lol "spotted bed bugs" Another attempted smear
  15. Goldpanner i have always been treated well on British Airways. I dont choose my vehicle by the quality of the trolley dollies its fair to say I just want to get from A to B safely obviously but at the same time knowing that if a mid air crisis arose we couldnt be in better hands at the pointy end. I really dont want to be 35,000 up and somchai at the wheel. Read your post of December 2nd 2017 but I can just see from reading that its clear you went at it like bull in a china shop over the compensation. Is it only since that incident you have been slagging BA ?? If not why were you flying them in 2014 ??
  16. I go in on occasions but ensure I never get a mothful obviously. Certainly never had any issues from the water
  17. True do an "always on" connection for around 200 baht a month with unlimited data albeit speed throttled. I have the short code if anyone wants it works a treat
  18. Goldpanner you really dont like BA do you
  19. Fly sharp are fine along with travel trolley both part of Southall travel the high st travel agents in London. Fly and TT are online only Used all 3 on multiple occasions. Westeast are no longer competitive compared to 20 years ago when they were the go to agent
  20. Always thought that whilst Virgin have done very well no aircraft lost etc sublime safety record but the airline has never really "taken off" so to speak. Could and perhaps should have been much bigger
  21. Dr Warin Pattaya Klang. Acknowledged by expat community as the best out there and regular prices
  22. Actual air time is horrendous though let alone the transit on return sectors
  23. Whilst not an out and out expat albeit not far off the emergemcy stuff I keep always are the meds Zovirax Tramadol Antibiotics selection from OTC here Paracet Aspirin Voltarol Anticil Water tabs for excess fluids removal after big sessions. Take 1 every 3 days. Strips away the water
  24. ^^ Some decent fares there. Air China is one of the few I havent ever used. Looks like "air time" is quite extensive though. Couple sites had Eva little bit cheaper than above late £400's . Fares overall higher than a year ago though
