  1. How anyone could fly on Thai international currently would be beyond me Maintenance screams at me. Mai pen rai shouts Somchai as his Yamaha bike spanners dont fit
  2. Thai International is still the highest fare I've ever paid in Economy of any airline....£540 in.....1995 !!
  3. I've literally 5 minutes ago sent £281 gross purely profit from Crypto in last 24 hours As I've clicked "I've sent the money" (To Wise) the email notification of money sent back out was instant. 10 seconds later by the time I've logged into app the cash was already in Thai bank (Edited to add I used medical expenses for reason for sending just to see what happened ! )
  4. Good example of Sterling being virtually identical to the landing rate of Transferwise (45.27)
  5. Some of you may have seen the press releases over the recent near catastrophic crash of a Emirates 777 at Dubai Whilst its going to be months before hard details are released Emirates because of a notification to all subsequent flight crews already know what happened For me whats even worse was flying at 75 feet above Dubai rooftops for what appears some period of time subsequently Automation at its absolute worst. They were 130 KMS over rotation speed when they finally decided it might be good idea to lift off !
  6. Hotel that we always use is always cheaper using its own website rather than Agoda and all the rest Always......and why wouldnt it be when the likes of booking sites take their commission. Hotel website or emailing them direct....always
  7. This was a sample one I did before....Premium Economy
  8. Yes I had look at that before and priced it up using their equivalent of premium economy and included all the extras to get true reflection Was a good £300 less (return) than Eva's Elite Class
  9. I note this morning British Airways have ditched Hong Kong for now because flights crew testing positive had to go into state quarantine ! Unsurprisingly BA said fook that for a game of soldiers
  10. Real dearth of airlines flying London Bangkok.....Travel Trolley pre Covid would have page after page in ascending order of price but struggling to fill even one normal page Turkish seem the best bet currently taking into account price, seat pitch, baggage allowance (very generous 30kg) and transit times plus they are part of Star alliance Prices rising as well in economy for sure Did an additional search London to Manila and the prices are beyond eye watering. I actually thought initially I must have clicked business class only
  11. Flown then using Travel Trolley as the agent (as per all the screenshots) No problem whatsover the only thing I thought Bahrain airport was pretty piss poor albeit hardly matters if you're only in transit for couple hours
  12. I've just rerun a set of dates for next year and what is glaringly obvious is airlines have taken the opportunity to remove inclusive luggage completely or heavily reduce existing allowances Not all I will add before someone says mine hasn't but big changes to many
  13. Just raised the topic on Legends group. Could be a game changer providing additional non stop options https://www.nationthailand.com/business/40008744?fbclid=IwAR1mXd0-9L1k1z3RDl8diXoKFEIHmZ5KigfGin0iQAFlRNm7iDBAs14mmUE The booking website is live and I did the month of June to include 20kg bag each way at £387 return Its likely they use their long haul version of their Dreamliner with 34" pitch in Economy and 36" in premium economy.....had a look on seat guru as they do have another version of their Dreamliner with only 31" pitch but am surmising thats short haul only perhaps
  14. Frankly it doesn't matter what version of aircraft you're on its all about the seat pitch if you're in economy (and avoiding those AVOD boxes) Biz I guess as I'm sure you are using seems to offer the biggest style of seat layouts though and I guess pitch isn't an issue Several decent vloggers on youtube (very decent) including Josh Cahill, Noel Phillips and Sam Chui who frequently highlight them. Cahill can be brutal at times with airline reviews
  15. Only ever been on the A380 twice and one of those was upstairs on Qatar in that very small economy section at the back Bangkok Doha in 2016 Was super impressed that day as was my lad who was with me
  16. Whilst May/June have always been the traditionally the cheapest months out of the UK further words are totally superfluous
  17. As before I have no intention of "attempting" to go until February 1st and am hopeful that the preceding 3 months will iron out all the difficulties
  18. Your deliberate baiting of me are the actions of a trolling 7 year old in junior school. You know full well what you're doing fella Off to the ignore box you go. Grow up.
  19. Yes it is overall flight length. I asked Alex Macheras my go to aviation guy on twitter and he's said its the overall length Am assuming (always fatal) that business class is somewhat higher than the £91
  20. Rishi Sunak today..... “I’m introducing, from April 2023, a new ultra long haul band in Air Passenger Duty covering flights of over 5,500 miles, with an economy rate of £91.” I'm not sure what we paying before though ?? So the question is is that overall flight length from A to B or on sector length ??
  21. @jackoI'll just leave this here for you. Your math is as good as mine so I suspect you wont need the + button on a calculator to crunch the numbers.....
  22. I'm just watching Sky and GMB here in the UK and restrictions are clearly on there way back for Brits. Death toll and infections are catastrophic currently Winter coming I can see another lockdown coming
  23. I genuinely dont think they will. They're desperate for customers and why would they alienate long standing passengers many who will hold FF status by jacking up fares Same for some thinking booze and bar fines prices will rise in Pattaya. Competition will dictate otherwise
  24. I cant screenshot is so easily now Via Travel Trolley because they've changed their presentation style but I re ran London Bangkok but changed the dates to May 2022 for 1 month 3 cheapest in Singapore Turkish and Gulf all with standard connection are sub £400 Theres no real indication I can see that prices are rising
  25. Virtually all the flight prices (albeit not all) on that flight thread has baggage included I'll run it again
