You were over quoted, I just got a price of 2500 BHT a night from the head reservation clerk, for a stay of 7 nights, beat you by 1500 BHT!

Please tell us where they are that price! Last time I looked even LM red were 59 BHT?

Why should he when YOU never assist us in this department, despite your constant boasting about getting big discounts, but refusing to give even 1 example eg Hotel name,Hotel Managers name and % price reductions? This of course does not apply to "Skyslops"!

Please name the guesthouse on Soi Lkmetro where you can get a NICE room for 400 bht on a daily rate!

For the sake of 340 BHT a night extra Jim, have a look at "Summer spring hotel" on Soi 1. there doing a pay 7 stay 8 nights deal. Large new rooms great pool area and very new I believe. The Sabai 700 deal I understand is for a smallish room overlooking the carpark. Simply no comparision IMHO! Have a safe trip.

For future reference, no matter where you stay ALWAYS tell the reception on arrival to EMPTY this nOObie trap and stock it yourself from the 7/11!

Have flown Brunei last 4 times. No complaints apart from it not serving alcohol! Usually involves quite long stop-overs in Brunei,both ways, and Airport is by far the worst for facilities I have ever had to spend time at. Saving grace last 3 years has been big savings but now Thai seem to be lowering their fares so that advantage might be gone next trip also. Just a BTW with Brunei, unlike Thai, you cannot pre-book your seat.

Just 1 hour ago Thai airways have reduced their fares out of N.Z. until June 30th by at least 25%, don't know if reductions are Worldwide or not! Seems for once the Bangkok Post article on this subject just 2 days ago was spot on! :bhappy

I would guess that your chances are very slim to get a room there at such short notice! I have stayed there twice, both for 4 weeks and rooms are large,well furnished and fairly priced. No chance of "Cooking" though as only fitted with a Micro wave and toaster. Sometimes it is noisy but no more so than many other places.

I Apologise you are correct, my wrong in mis-reading post! Would appreciate any info by PM of 15000 bht deals advertised on boards, especially for Mid July onwards.

DITTO! Hard to believe such a low figure, the enquiries I've made about condos on a Monthly rent want a mimnimum of 23,000 bht plus utilities! That is in the LOW season.
