Arctic Air, owned and ran by English guy,named BILL, previously had guesthouse on Soi Lkmetro.

Returning in November and am very tempted to book this place. The only recommendation I've had is from 1 member hence my hesitation. I realise that it is not very well positioned and therefore somewhat reliant on moto/taxi to return in the evening. Would be grateful for ANY info about place and surrounding area, from members who might have stayed there! Thanks

I am somewhat puzzled by your comments in as much as I have been to Samet on 3 occassions and each time used "Malibu Travel" mini bus transport. This drops me off at their town office and then it's merely a 5 minute WALK to the pier, and never even seen a TAXI for hire! Whilst it would be convenient to be delivered to the pier it's no deal breaker. Regarding the arrival provided you ensure that you get the NADAN ferry and not the Malibu resort one,then it's only a 40 bht baht bus ride almost to the beach. Alternatively if you are fit (I'm not) you can walk to the beach in 10 minute comforta
