I agree that it's frustrating having to pay for the entire month,as I very often stay 24/29 days only. However it's still by far the cheaper option and the Hotels are on a good thing,and as such will never offer a Pro-rata deal! Mostly using my preferred Airline schedule I cannot get a 30 day stay due to limitations on cheap tickets and restricted airline flying dates.

100% correct. VERY happy if depart after 2 days!

I do it all the time with no problems at all. Stayed atLiquid lounge and R-con, their happy as you pay for 1 month up front plus a sizeable deposit, and as previously stated they can get "Double" room rent after you leave. No need to tell them beforehand or make excuses.

Many charge far less in fact! Maybe you can explain your rational behind this plain and simple electric RIP-OFF, please don't use the excuse of customers have to share the extra (outside lighting/corridors etc) as this is all part of running a business! You appear to have a good product to sell, why taint it with this out and out rort?

Just returned after staying 1 month and IMHO you'll have no problem getting decent room in that area.There's a multitude of new accomodation opening almost eveyweek (most with no website) Forget "High Season" thats a thing of the past for a few years, as Martin suggested book a place like the "Apex" for 2 days and then pound the pavements, you'll be spoilt for choice!

Hi Mike, would that be Ron, the new owner as Gabriel has now sold out! Onetrue, I used to stay at the Cock & Bull/Kilkenny on all my trips until they raised their prices by 50+% overnight (monthly rates), however to be fair the rooms are 1st class and well furnished. I know they have vacant medium sized rooms on the 3rd floor available for your time. and one large room on the 4th floor! Another to consider, equally as good but cheaper is "The Liquid Lounge"! The "Rockhouse" has what are IMO the best rooms in every way for the price, in the whole of Pattay

It's a fair way away from Soi2 thru 8, plenty others much nearer. Areca now only average nothing special.

As C.Tales appears to close its cafe early I would be certain they have a private entrance. There are many more guesthouses have private entrnces than do not! Even if not most bar customers couldn't give a monkies about your companion,apart from giving her a quick look! Do't be shy!

So many to choose from offering very high standards and good deals (especially for longer stays)! Soi Lkmetro IMHO offers excellent values, BYW have never heard of ANY guesthouse with a "Joiner fee"!

Out in the sticks,and expensive!
