Maybe our wires got crossed somewhere as I believe you stayed at the NIRAN Condos, which I agree are indeed value for money! But as I stay for only 4 weeks at a time, and refuse to risk life & Lim b on a moto at my time of life, I look for something handier and more comfortable!

Especially the schoolgirl bus/train/elevator "Groping" ones! More especially when a rare UNcensured one pops up!

As of 3 Months ago, The price for a Medium room was 16000 bht MONTHLY The price for a large room was 18000 bht MONTHLY. Both were discounted by 10% for Forum Members (including bar/food bill) so either 14,400 or 16,200 MONTHLY! Would you please give me a clue as where these "CONDOS" of comparable quality/size/furnishings are,around 45 sq metres, c/w large balcony, preferably in Pattaya, for either 7200bht or 8100bht per MONTH, including ALL utilities and Daily cleaning/linen changes as I am looking for such a bargain for my next 4 week trip in June. New flash multi storey Hotel opened recently with 3 pools. Looks good but pricey for the SOI. Another "Boutique" Hotel also in construction, being built for same guy who recently opened the "Chippy" on Lengkee. I believe he posts on the boards as "Cronus"!

Right on the "Bend" on SOI LKMetro, 2 doors up from "Devil's Den" (very handy!!) Believe me rooms are excellent both in value and service, otherwise wouldn't have had my repeat custom 4 times. As stated though, now sold to Jason of Champagne fame and rumoured to be converting to another GOGO! So what the future is for the rooms, I don't know. 132 Days till wheels up again! :P

Excellent report and for 550bht good value. However having stayed at the "Kilkenny" several times I have to say from looking at your room pics it's nowhere approaching the quality of the Kilkenny, either in size/furnishings or cleaning/linen change services. On a Mothly basis not much difference in price also. Cannot say for certain things will remain same at Kilkenny though as the "Champagne" owner has purchased it.

Forget it Jim, I paid 100 bht for my girl to use their pool last month. The only rooms worth considering are the new poolside ones, the rest are crap, and YES the Mozzies are a big problem. Opposite there is a resturant called "Jollys" and they have excellent rooms above for cheaper price, very well furnished,TV/DVD/Kettle/Micro/AC&Fan/etc only 2 drawbacks are steep stairs and no balcony. Looking at that place myself for May/June trip.

Whist standing on my balcony last month on Soi Buakaow overlooking the "S" bend, saw the most idiotic M/C rider ever. He was driving one handed, a toddler in front of him holding the handlebars. Another schoolgirl seated behind him! NO helmets of course! The thing that capped it all was he was using his free hand to hold his cellphone to his ear,whilst cradling a BABY in the crook of his arm!!! All this happened as he passed by about a dozen cops who were doing their pre-CHRISTMAS collections outside the R-Con! They didn't even stop him?

Regarding the "R-Con" the TV has well over 50 Channels, the rooms at the front especially are bright & Cheerful,Please post FACTS and not mis-leading fiction as some members are guided by posts here,I usually get 601/701, and the Monthly rate is about 60% of D-Apartments even taking into account overpaying for Electricity due to being stupid enough not to check meter along with a staff member upon arrival! However simply calling it a "Delux Superior Room" means absolutely nothing, and going by the pics posted (thank you Frogster) to me it appears very utility and not what I term as delux or even near it, nowhere approaching the class of furnishings at the "Rockhouse", in their far bigger room at a lot cheaper all in price, to name yet another place! In July/Aug when I was at the R-Con my Electric/ water was 2850 for the Month and believe me I didnt economise. The bottled water + Toilet paper is really a non entity!I

Thanks for the enquiry but at 27,000 bht not for me Ronnie! Must be Thai owned so don't believe their books! For less than that sort of money FAR superior value can be had, eg, BJ Lodge,R-Con and even a Condo in V/T6 through "Dancewatcher"!

I have seen this building going up over the past few months from my balcony at the R-Con. When making a booking just insist it applies tothe new wing ONLY! Really nothing to lose as I presume no advance unrefundable deposit is required, if not as advertised then move on.
