Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

It doesn't have to be flown miles. They don't care how you obtain the miles, they just care that you stay active for the timeframe they set for activity before the miles expire. CC activity or any promotion that puts miles in your account keeps it active. Player, EVA lowered it to 80% on the deep discount flights.

Have stayed there numerous times and was there late Nov. - Dec 2nd of this year. Hotel across and to the left is in well on it's way to getting finished. I had a corner room closest to it on the 4th floor and the noise was never really noticed by me. And yes the pool is tiny so you won't be doing laps in it but it's a pool to relax in if one chooses to. They installed a room safe and I was told all the rooms were getting the same. I love the location and the walk in shower. The staff has always been curtious and helpful. For those that used to avoid the lobby by using the driveway to get to the elevators, be aware that they now lock the side doors at 6pm. Will, until something changes, be one of my first choices for a Pattaya hotel.

A friend at work turned me on to this site. Some funny take-offs on some popular sayings. http://despair.com/viewall.html

200bt bar fine is it worth doing
brotherbuzz replied to alan lad's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
At least you saved the BF. The spinner I took from Coyotee's that night was completely useless. Hell, the TV remote was more interactive than she was. For the OP: As to 200baht after 2am..........it honestly won't make me rush to the club, but if I wandered by at the time, and remembered the price, I'd take a look. Lower during regular hours would encourage me to stop by to buy a few drinks and check out the ladies. -
United Airlines credit card, would this work?
brotherbuzz replied to ginseng's topic in Airline Discussion
Check http://flyertalk.com/ It's been discussed to death by the worlds foremost miles hounds. Can't give you any solid answers as I didn't delve very far in the threads. -

Looked at the rooms in June. Nothing fancy and chose not to stay there, but didn't expect much for 600 baht a night. Good location for wandering soi 7 and 8 and the restaurant is pretty darn good.
-
Depends on your idea of a comfortable bed and decent price. I cannot sleep on a hard bed so my choice is Dynasty Inn on soi 13 at 1200 a night. I also liked the beds at RG.

is it safe to book through this website ?
brotherbuzz replied to hal73's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
To answer your question, yes. Unless they changed policy there is no deposit, and they honor their bookings. -
Think this is only applicable for those from the US, but an easy way to get 25,000 miles from United if you eat out a decent amount each month at participating Rewards Network (formerly IDine) restaurants. Miles offer link: https://mpdining.rewardsnetwork.com/registe...terbutton062906 Rewards Network link for registering and info: http://mpdining.rewardsnetwork.com/ Hopefully helpful to someone out there

I did BKK-Phuket and back 2 weeks ago on Air Asia with no problems.

BKK-Phuket and Phuket-BKK 2 weeks ago. No problems for me.

If I book EVA or China Air through them will I get the miles? Any experience? Would have asked in my last posted question but thought it better as a seperate topic. Thanks for any help.
-
Never flown them but they offer the best price for the Nov. trip I'm looking to take. Can I choose my seats? Only ask because the only Asian carrier I've flown was JAL and you could request but not book ahead of time. Thanks in advance.

That would be me T. See....I don't always just tease you . Flyertalk is a great site for anything miles related.
-
You've piqued my curiousity. Did you partake? Cost?

You forgot the 'g' in bangkok. Better URL: www.bangkoksuite.com Looks OK from their site. Does that BTS line get you to National Stadium (MBK)? If it does I'd consider it.
-
According to their website, not B1090 anymore. Try B1200 a night.
-
Well, I'm booked in Bangkok for June but may look elsewhere after looking at their site. They raised BKK to 1200 and the 3rd guest is now listed as 500 baht. No doubt that will apply to both BKK and Pattaya. On the plus side it still says they'll transfer you free one way, and I'll assume the 2 day minimum at the 2nd hotel still stands.

Well, I started to write a long boring answer but decided to send you to a site with the info instead. Others here can give you a better explanation than I :). If you have not already, you may find the answerrs you seek here by searching for FF program(s) or Frequent Flier. Basically, once you have enough miles you can trade them in for an 'award' seat on a flight. Don't know anything about EVA's Evergreen Club (Partnered with NW I think), but Thai is in the Star Alliance and you can generally use your accumulated miles with any of the SA partner airlines and not just the airline you've earned you miles with. e.g. Your Thai miles can be used for receiving an award seat with United. You can collect miles in many ways aside from flying. Credit card sign-up bonuses (upwards of 20,000 miles), miles for paying with the CC (e.g. 1 mile for each $ spent), miles for buying products from associated partners such as flowers from FTD, etc. etc. A good place to learn about FF programs is : http://www.flyertalk.com/ It's where I got my start and I have flown 3 "free" ($25 tax) flights out of 5 since I looked into FF programs.

You can find info and also try your question at: http://www.flyertalk.com/ Go to forums/airline programs/delta Very knowledgable folks who've worked (almost) every angle.

I stayed there in Feb. Apt was fine. Clean, good a/c, nice TV, large room, good hot water and shower with large glass doors that made for an interesting sight when my TG was showering. Has a pool that I didn't try but looked OK. Girls at reception desk were nice and liked to joke around. Getting to Walking Street is a breeze. Just cross 2nd road and keep going straight. Guests are no problem. One receptionist insisted on ID cards while others never asked. I was with a familiar girl so didn't matter if they asked or not. Walk from 2nd road was no problem for me and I never felt unsafe, though I think my ass was in danger from many of the local bar boys and LB's. I arrived very late at night and did not realize the place is located where most of the bars/gogo's had "boy" in the title. If that bothers you, book elsewhere. If you stay on the 4th floor you may see the naked wheelchair guy. Happened to be in the apt. next to him and woke up early one morning to him yelling "Gerry" or "Gary", followed by "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" over and over and over. Couldn't tell if they guy fell out of his chair, just needed help, or was yelling in his sleep. Came back late one night to him doing sprints back and forth in the hallway. Only issue I had was when I checked out the maintinence guy, there because the manager was out, quoted me 100baht more per night than the agreed price. He said the manger told him the rate. He called the manager, don't recall his name, and I got the price I agreed to, but I'm not 100% certain it was an honest mistake. I won't stay again, but only because I'm not comfortable with the area it's located. Other than that it's good value for the money.

I've crossed that road many many times with no problems. Sure it's a little busy but it's not that bad unless you're stumbling blind drunk. Trust me, you don't need a crossing guard to make it safely.

You enjoyed her crashing, took the time to post your enjoyment here, and she's the arrogant one. Go figure......

You're thinking of Flipper House. Definitly a better view of the bar across the street, but the Lodge has a view of the sea.
