  1. The price for Late June - Mid July is now $1452. You can go on ebay and buy 60K US Airways miles for around $900. Just check to see if they have award availability during your vacation dates and then have them courtesy "hold" the reservation for 3 days. Meanwhile, you can have the ebay guy make the reservatin using your award ticket confirmation number. Works for me and you save over $600.
  2. A lot has no doubt changed since this last post. Any RECENT updates? I've need a cheap place for 16 nights in DEC/JAN
  3. You are not the first to notice this
  4. Yeah, well I did a quick estimate at 34. I'm an accountant not an actuary! And no, definitely could not get the same quality and standard in the US. Which is probably why 99% of us come to LOS in the first place.
  5. I'm looking to buy 60K miles from a kind-hearted soul. I must return to Pattaya soon!!! Please, help me.
  6. When I first joined the forum I had little knowlege or respect for the rules and rightfully earned myself a quick 50% warning. I have been a tolerant and less beligerant bloke since. I also seek absolution.
  7. I think he's only interested in selling 1st class tickets, but I hope not!
  8. I am one of those who prefer "hunting". I love the idea of leaving behind an "8" because I know a 9 or 10 is out there somewhere waiting for me to BF her! mmmmmmmm. Plus, I like to move around while (and before) I BF. After I finish with a lady I usually pass out or go to bed. I went to the Hell Club and everything is as the OP stated. Very upfront and honest. The only problem I experienced is that the girls were average looking at best. I know, I know, I know.. It's the "service" you pay for (and I'm sure it's outstanding in everyway). But personally, I would rather have an abosolu
  9. Are you kidding? 50B?? C'mon. You do understand that "friendship" is not free on Soi 6, right? Seriously though, if you're chumping about 50 baht you can't affort Pattaya.
  10. Just for fun, I wonder if the word "give" is appropriate. (i.e. gift). I'm sure you share the money and the proper word is more likely "hand over". lol. Whatever.. My budget came out to be over 50K baht!! Is that per month? Is that like $1,700 USA per month? shit. I might have to stay in the US where it's cheaper!
  11. You have a point I won't deny. My interest lies in advertisement and ways to get punters to come to a bar. Agreed that BGs don't have to do anything (and who the hell wants a forced demonstration). Still, If the BG was assured of a 50Baht management differential for a simple lap dance to the "winning farang customer" I'm not sure that would be a bad thing. I haven't thought it all out yet, (and I have other promotionial ideas), but I'm sure we can be innovative and creative in thinking of new ways to attact and maintain repeat customers? Let's give it a try......
  12. I was responding to another thread about successful advertising ideas for bars when I had to stop myself when I found myself suggesting lap dances as a way to get guys in the bar or keep them in the bar. It then occured to me that Lap dances really don't exist in Pattaya. What's up with that? A free beer might not draw me in to the bar as I'm on vacation and have plenty of dough. $1-$2 is not doing anything for me. But what about the allure of a "free" lapdance from the dancer of your choice on stage? That might do it! I'm talking about picking out a girl on stage and have her
  13. I think you are very wise in choosing Soi Diana area. beefeater restaruant, pharmacy and 7-11 all very close. beer bars and go-go on site. sweeeeeet. Short walk to 2nd road and 10 baht ride to soi 2 (my fave), or cut through Mike's shopping mall and 10 baht to Walking street. Have you tried any of the other hotels on Soi Diana and nearby? This is my favorite place, too.
  14. Thai from JFK is the only non-stop available and at 17 hours, it's a doozy. But you save maybe 10 hours each way in connection time, so for $200 bucks or so you get what amounts to an extra day of vacation. The service on Thai? No problems for me. Plenty of extra food available for the price of a quick walk to the galley. Helpful and pretty staff (But I think China airlines has hotter attendants). As for comfort, I am 6' and 225 lbs and had no trouble in my aisle seat. The "bump up" to premium econcomy for a few hundred may be worth considering if you don't have an aisle seat. Busines
  15. I don't give a crap if the room is Free AND comes with a BG, roaches are a deal-breaker for me. At 850/night WITHOUT breakfast, it's not a great deal (unless your BG is from Issan then you don't have to take her out to breakfast).
  16. Too much. I'll give you 20K baht paypal today if yor're serious.
  17. "Some passengers had a seasonal flu"? The severity of the "coughing bout" is not explained in the article (and I'm not sure it makes a difference). All I know is that the Pilot is most likely aware and/or trained to recognize symptoms of infection/disease. I say fuck off the plane and get a free ticket anywhere you want to go NEXT TRIP! ME SO SORRY BITCH.
  18. no doubt a dumb question, but this is what I do when I'm drunk... I have thought about renting a boat and/or a parachute ride, etc... Do they have lockers on the boat where I can secure my 10K baht and ID? I have hesitated to rent because I was not sure I could secure my valuables as I can in a hotel. Don't want to carry 10-20K baht in my pocket and get tossed in the bay! Anyone know?
  19. As far as I know the PIK Kitchen is authentic, traditional and rather costly. ( have to take off your shoes and everything)! lol. If you go, please let us (me) know what it's like.
  20. A bit premature, but are you planning on a July 4th party? Not a big deal in Thailand, but to us Farangs it's always a good reason to party!
